It’s “Put On The Helmet Day” Mom

Bringing a little Chaos to your day

Red States, Rush, I hope you’re listening. There is one thing and one thing only we need to do right now, and for the foreseeable future. It is time for the Operation Chaos Reunion Tour. Remember, according to the polls, there are at least 48 million of us out there.

Now what is the best way to create this chaos? Firstly, today is the day we should start considering what referendum votes we need to get on the ballots in 2010. Consider that this is how we held onto Congress and the White House in 2004. Not only should abortion bans be on the ballots, but also gay marriage bans, tough illegal immigration laws, budgetary constraints for the states, tax ban proposals, and faith based initiatives should be matters that are brought directly to the voter’s attention in every state. Let’s sign petitions for special elections on every Democrat in the Senate who isn’t running for re-election in two years. Let’s put all of their seats at risk, and make it impossible for a conscientious conservative to stay away from the polls. Remember, Washington may have gone ultra liberal, but the nation is still a conservative one.

Additionally, the next election needs to be not just a referendum on Obama, but on the entire future of the nation. There were a lot of know-nothings who voted in this election, voting for a young black (I will continue to repeat that he is black, he is not African American…just African) man. They figured “hey, give him a shot, let’s see what happens”. This was not a vote to save the nation from some great conservative menace. It was a throw the bums out election. Well, Obama is as big a bum as they come. We lost opportunities in this election to warn voters of his wildly radical views, and it was not because the information was not out there. We can all sit around and blame McCain for not calling Obama to the carpet, but it will do us no good. Consider that the video interview with Obama where he expressed a desire to bankrupt the coal industry was on the internet for months, yet we did not hear about, or disseminate this information until two days before the election, far too late to have a major impact on the vote. Let us be a constant voice against the radicalism that Obama represents.

Now let’s make one thing clear about what has just happened to the Republican party, we lost a lot of seats in the House and Senate this election, but this was not necessarily a bad thing. For the most part (and I know there were exceptions, such as Elizabeth Dole), the seats we lost were those of the most spineless and liberal RINO’s we had in office. God knows I was not sorry to see Rep. Wayne Gilchrest (R????? Are you serious? R????) from my home district in Maryland ousted from office. Granted, he was replaced by the liberal Kratovill, but at least we know what we are dealing with in the new Democrat congressman.

We have removed nearly all of the Republicans for whom we have been carrying an enormous amount of liberal water. Now it is time to stop defending their thinly veiled pseudo-conservative agendas, and start pushing the true conservative movement back to the forefront of this nation.

Lastly, it is time to decide who the leaders of our somewhat streamlined party will be, though this is not to say we should start selecting our presidential candidates. That time will come soon enough. We don’t need this big tent nonsense anymore. Our tolerance for moderates and even liberals within the party has only brought us to this day. We need not apologize for being conservatives, and nor should our leaders. I should hope that not everyone has forgotten the lessons we learned from Reagan. We have Jindal and Palin who will be good contenders for 2012, and we should support them now as party leaders, in order to give voice to our beliefs in the national forum for ideas.

To pick up the pieces…

Well, we lost. We lost fair and square, and no amount of voter fraud could have created the victory Obama won tonight. So be it. We have staved off a filibuster proof majority in the Senate. Thank God, small that this consolation may be.

And yet. And yet while I voted for McCain, and while I hoped he would win, there was that little piece of me that was hoping I lost. I hoped to lose in this election because of all the elctions to come. I know that the policies Obama will enact will come close to destroying this nation, and I voted to keep that from happening, but I am now freed to say what I could not say even to myself before tonight.

This night was always going to come. Whether in 2008, 2012, or some election in the near future, tonight was going to come all the same. It is the Democrat equivalent of the Reagan revolution with one distinct difference. And while it will be a source of misery, it is also the source of my hope.

When Reagan was elected he pushed for lower taxes. Obama will push to raise them. When Reagan was elected he created a stronger military. Obama seeks to tear it down. When Reagan was elected he believed America should be the sole superpower in the world. Obama does not want us to be a superpower at all. When Reagan was elected he created hope. Obama can only talk of the shadow of hope, lurking somewhere in the distance.

The next four years will be a disaster for the United States. It will be grueling, and hard. It will destroy fortunes and families. But the damage will not be anywhere near as great as it could have been with the slow, steady, and destructive advance of liberalism that would have come otherwise.

By electing Barack Obama tonight, along with granting him an even larger majority in both houses of congress, the American electorate has guaranteed that President-Elect Obama will get most, if not all of his projects and proposals granted. As a direct result of this, companies will be destroyed, industries will be bankrupted, and people will be impovrished. There will, I believe, finally be no question as to the result of the liberal policies fought which the Democratic party has so ardently fought.

America will never stand for this. We will not take these blows lying down. We will not allow this party of Death and Defeat to dismantle the Constitution and the greatness of our nation along with it. If tonight seems like a revolution, it will be nothing compared to 2010. It will be nothing compared to 2012.

By not electing one of the most liberal Republican candidates in recent party history, we have allowed the true intentions of the Democrat party to be brought to fruition, and with it, the death of their party, not ours. Obama has made “Yes we can” such a famous statement, but I would like to make one of my own.

We will snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Yes we will. We will reverse the dangerous and deadly policies of the Democratic party that seek to choke out our industry and wealth. Yes we will. We will stop them at every turn when they attempt to destroy God, the family, and the greatness of this, the last best hope of freedom in the world. Yes we will. We will take the ashes of this defeat, and creat the movement anew, strengthened with our true philosophy, and uncompromised by spineless twits who once wore the Republican mantle only because it was popular and electable. Yes we will. Yes we will.

The Obama Civilian Militia

Or as I call them, the Blue Shirts

Obama wants to creat a civilian militia. He wants it to be of the same size as the military. What…in the name of God…would he possibly do with his own army?

Well, not quite ninety years ago, a few Germans formed a political party with similar aspirations to Obama’s as it’s stated philosophy. They called themselves the NSDAP. They too created a civilian militia, known to them as the Sturmabteilung.

This was a wonderfully patriotic militia. They did all kinds of things for their leaders. They even had a youth regiment called the Jugenbund. They were community organizers of sorts. Very effective tactics. Especially the political maneuvering which Obama seems to be so fond of. Quite similar indeed.

Of course like all good things, the Sturmabteilung had to come to an end, and be replaced in a manner of speaking by the Schutzstaffel.

I bring this up only because the best way to predict the future is to look to the past. For those of you who don’t know German, here are some english translations for you.

NSDAP = German Nazi Party
Sturmabteilung = SA, aka Brown Shirts, aka Storm Troopers
Jugenbund = Hitler Youth
Schutzstaffel = SS

Also, another interesting correlation between the leaders of the leaders of both the 1920′s group, and the prospective leader of this new one, they certainly hang around a lot of people who don’t like Jews. Odd.

Obama’s New Math

Who he's really going to tax (p.s. - it's YOU!)

If Obama gets elected and gets his way, the Capital Gains Tax will increase from 15% to 28%. As some have tried to explain, corporations do not pay taxes. They merely process them. Consumers pay all “corporate” taxes, and any cap. gains increase would directly affect American consumers, i.e. everybody.

An Obama Lexicon

What the Democratic Nominee Really Means

We have seen in the last two years that Senator Obama has obscured a lot of his beliefs in the interest of getting elected. When he speaks about not punishing successful people in this country, he has a lot of “ummm’s” and “uhh’s”. Yet he is a very eloquent speaker, and in the small amount of speeches he has made in the past which have been made available to the public, he is without pause or falter in his speech. The difference between the two is that he believes one, and not the other. Here, then, is a guide to understanding what Obama really means today when making his numerous – or perhaps innumerable – campaign promises.

Orwell Was Just a Little Early

How Obama May Make (a good part of ) 1984 Come True

Alright, I know that sounds like hyperbole. Let’s go through this one step at a time and see how much it sounds like hyperbole after I’m done.

So what are the main conditions in 1984? The world is at constant war, the media is controlled by the government, and will blatantly lie at the government’s behest since, in their reality, government is the only truth. Dissent is disallowed, and a capital offence. Everybody is watching everyone else, and there is a pervasive, persistent depression.

Liberalism is Born of Laziness

And Why The Democrats Want YOUR Money

Too many people want their hand-out. Too few ever take the first step to independence and success. Is it because they can’t, or because they don’t ever care to try? Go to most parks in the U.S., and you will invariably find a sign exhorting you to refrain from feeding the animals. This is because if enough fools feed these wild creatures, they will become domesticated, dependant, and incapable of surviving without the assistance of the same ignorantly benevolent passers-by. If it is so important that we make sure the squirells and birds still remember how to survive, why is it not infinitely more important to teach the same lessons to our own citizens???
