If you’re like me you have gone to innumerable websites reading stories on the destruction Sandy has wrought, the human toll thus far, the financial toll expected, breathtaking photos,  etc. But some stories fall into the hmmmm category.  They’re the ones you read that for some reason make you extremely angry, some may make you laugh, and some may just leave you questioning …Why did they do that? So, if you don’t have a lot of time to write up a diary and find something interesting please drop a post here.

I’ll start with a something found today on which combines the Occupy Wall Streeters and Sandy.  Occupy has its own website. Well it did until “bubble ” went down.  Here’s what was posted on the front page. From OWS:
“  We’re sorry, OccupyWallSt.org is currently experiencing  downtime. Our website is hosted on a server named bubble whose  home is in the lower tip of Manhattan’s financial district. Due to  severe weather caused by global warming wrought by an  unsustainable and selfish economic system known as capitalism, the power went out in bubble’s house and flooding destroyed the diesel pumps to the backup generators.”   http://occupywallst.org/

On the plus side, this had the absolute cutest picture of a bunny on it. But when you tear your eyes away from the bunny and read the above line, we are suppose to believe a “selfish economic system known as capitalism” caused their power to go out?  Really?

UPDATE: Forget the OWS link as they have already taken it down and replaced with the usual OWS drivel. I can’t find the cute bunny pic on there anymore either.  So, don’t click as it will just cause them to view their page hits and then erroneously deduce someone actually cares about what they’re doing.
