July 4th and I’m in shock…we’ve gotta do better than this….

Why are so many people in this country disconnected from this country? They are totally clueless about where we come from as a country…

Leno nails it at the end, from Grandpa down comes the history of this country. We’ve at some point been dumbed down hard. This is all stuff I was raised with, and I can’t imagine at what point it stopped being taught to our kids.

And a “College Professor” doesn’t even know!

I can properly guess why it’s not being emphasized in schools though. If the people of this country don’t know how much sweat and blood was shed to create our nation, they won’t defend it from tyranny. Wonder how so many could just blindly follow one empty suit all the way to the Presidency?

One thing I’m going to be doing tonight is nobody lights off any fireworks unless they can answer a few questions about why we’re lighting them off.

Got that oh daughter O mine?? You still have time to study.

    JULY 4TH, 2010?A FEARFUL NATION PAUSES

    Americans reflect what giving an aggressive secular socialist political Party control of Congress (since Jan. 2007) and the White House (since Jan. 2009) has wrought upon common sense, our nation, our families, our paychecks and our value system.

    The rest of 2010 will be spent on the usual distractions, lies and smears by national democrats while the reality that their Party cannot manage foreign policy or an economy sinks in to everyone but their fellow socialists.

    We will have to tolerate the litany of denials and demonizing sprinkled with lofty promises as smiling J. Carter ?Alinsky-ite? Obama attempts to deliberately lengthen our misery.

    God give us strength.

    yesterday, but it seemed a little heavy-handed, and I’m always on the tightrope between p.o.’ing my liberal family and pounding in some common sense.

    When her paycheck and/or union pension check doesn’t come from the State of Debt of Illinois, maybe she’ll get the point.

    initially, but as it went on and one listens to people who can speak but know nothing, I couldn’t believe it. They did not appear to be illiterate; do they not teach any basics of American History in public schools anymore? Every kid used to be taught that stuff, and we did all kinds of dress up and plays, and speeches.

    Yes, the Progressives have done a number on this culture and society. It appears to have been their intent; and now combined with the radical Left, they have a tabula rasa (blank slate) to easily brainwash the people. If people know nothing, how can they recognize right from wrong? How can they discern the truth of the pablum being fed them? They can’t and no wonder that they are gullible and have lost site of the greatness of this country. They’re not learning about it in the first place.

    A great crime is being perpetuated upon this nation.

      Undergraduates earn B.A.s in America Sucksism and go on to be adjunct professors with graduate degrees in Social Justice, Crony Capitalism and Shakedown Methodology.

      I wonder if Greece went through the dumbing down phase, too. Maybe Jay needs to stand outside the Parthenon and transmit the wisdom of the ages as understood by the modern Greeks.

      Mostly, I’d say the venue he chose is perfect to highlight the downfall of a civilization. A gaggle of Hollywood-worshipping celebrity-brain-sucked troglodytes. The Grandpa, naturally, grew up in a different country.

    There’s no indication of how many people Mr. Leno had to interview to find such a collection of clueless television zombies. Nevertheless, the presence of such zombies in our society is cause for serious alarm.

    It was really funny when that guy said “to get to the other side.”
