To prove once & for all that Mitt Romney won’t be our nominee…

I consider those of you on Redstate to be of the "tea party" or at the very least, more conservative than most. I believe the tea party will decide who the nominee is, based on what happened in the November elections of 2010.

I believe that the polling of our candidates is flawed and purposely being distorted. The only thing that qualifies a person being questioned for a poll to be a "registered Republican" is them saying so. The only thing that qualifies a person as being a "Republican" is them saying so.

So, dear friends, if the primary for your state was being held today, would you vote for Mitt Romney? It’s that easy. Yes or no comment below please.

    p.s. – like any internet poll, this one is near-useless.. like any poll of pure conservatives, this one completely misses that there are, for better or worse, significant numbers of non-conservatives in the GOP… and finally, in the interest of continuing the grand tradition of presidential polls, RONPAUL! {spit}

However, if Hugo Chavez was running as the Republican nominee against Obama I would vote for Hugo. I hope that clears up the picture.

Hugh… Hugo Chavez? I’m on to you.

Are you trying to start your own grassroots campaign to get yourself the GOP nomination, so you can go on to defeat Obama, Hugh? Or is it Hugh…go?

How about a no and yes. How’s that for a typical politicians answer. I think I could fit right in with the DC crowd.

I may be wrong, but I think most anyone can beat Obama. However, I don’t think Hugo Chavez wants to take such a large pay cut.

Why don’t you run? I will be your campaign manager. We would truly be grass roots. What is a gpclaw? Need to start working on some talking points for the campaign.

No. Of course not, I do not believe Romneycare is a noble experiment. It makes no difference who is compelling you to do something you do not feel you need to do.

But winning this election is not a want. It’s a need. Its a need for the country first and a need for the party second.

Obama WILL be the Democrats candidate. If he wins, it is virtually certain that the Supreme Court will flip, and a majority of the justices will no longer consider the original meaning of the constitution.

If Obama wins, businesses all over America will continue to be choked by the smog of regulation, and bled by confiscatory taxes, drawn and weak until they shrivel up and die.

If Obama wins, the energy sector, the aviation sector and the insurance sector will simply perish. The auto sector and the banking sector will become the personal fiefdoms of Obama sycophants.

So if the strongest man standing is Romney, then Romney is my man.

traverse that when you meant “our”, you meant Redstate. I think it’s long been know that Romney is not Redstate’s nominee. With many months to go in this nomination process, the game isn’t even a foot yet. It’s just barely getting started.

I think Erick’s been pretty fair and accurate with his scoring of this horse-race and we’re just out the starting gate. The GOP nominee is rarely the Redstate nominee – please refer to exhibit A.

          Exhibit A: Fred Thompson.

People are peeved at the Dems and Obama – and peeved at the Rinos. I think the Conservatives hold the power this time.
