Romney’s upcoming VP pick.
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | July 13th at 01:13 PM |
No matter who he picks they’ll be run through the shredder so I’m rooting for him to pick someone both competent and who will make the left look even worse for the dumpster diving defamation antics they’ll pull. That said , at least he can’t pick Biden Sr. Anyone else, for the most part, is a step up…
A silver lining…

Yes, Obamacare is now an issue for the 2012 election… That’s about it… the only good thing about it is now we can maybe vote out some of those who voted for it and elect in some new people who are all about getting rid of it. Except that in ruling the mandate a tax it means you can’t be legislated into buying a GM | Read More »
On the drivel that is greenism…

Green drivel from the Toronto Sun via Drudge… My favorite quote: (4) Finally, about claims “the science is settled” on global warming: “One thing that being a scientist has taught me is that you can never be certain about anything. You never know the truth. You can only approach it and hope to get a bit nearer to it each time. You iterate towards the | Read More »
Syria…
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | June 22nd at 06:40 PM |
If Saudi Arabia starts funding the Syrian insurgents into a full blown civil war and Turkey shelters the Syrian insurgency with it’s borders will Syria decide enough is enough and start a regional war? Barring that will it spread of it’s own accord if Russia/China/Iran decide to back Syria against the rest of the middle east? Just have a bad feeling about the whole situation | Read More »
The recall elections’ hidden danger.
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | June 10th at 06:05 PM |
It’s been the better part of a week now since unions in particular and democrats in general had their heads collectively handed to them in a not really even close recall vote. It was a great victory for the taxpayers, even the ones who didn’t want it, and a stinging rebuke about the issues involved. You might expect this to be a “don’t get to | Read More »
Thanks for making me laugh Drudge!
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | May 16th at 04:27 PM |
This guy looks like he’s just realized the O isn’t going to pay him for the sub… “Hey that comes outta my pay mister!”
So… Romney’s past employer Bain is a vampire according to team O?
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | May 14th at 02:25 PM |
That’s cool by me, as long as they’re not sparkly whiny vampires… Oh wait that’s team O, they’re the real sparkly whiny vampires. Always wondered why the O looked anemic in the light, now we know. I wonder if Bain is going to stake the outcome of the election for team not-sparkly now…
Are we really releasing Taliban to fight against us again?
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | May 7th at 03:57 PM |
http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/05/07/us-secretly-releasing-taliban-fighters-report-says/ Just my two cents here but… Don’t we strengthen our hand by keeping them and *maybe* releasing them for actual gains once the gains are realized? Has no one learned that the opposition, the Taliban, is allowed/encouraged to lie to us “infidels” by doctrine/scripture etc? Or is this something worse, sheer incompetency on display by the administration or are they actively trying to help | Read More »
Voted today…
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | April 24th at 03:37 PM |
Voted for Santorum today… I *almost* felt like my vote meant something… until he quit the other week. For a brief second I considered voting for Gingrich but there was an article over on drudge that said he was *considering* dropping out later this week… (which to me reading between the lines seems more like “will drop out soon so why bother”). Someone finally published images of Zimmerman’s injuries sustained when a young thug was apparently, according to eyewitnesses, bashing his head into the concrete before he defended himself from losing his own life. My only question about this is why did it take several weeks to put them out? The prosecutor who decided to go after Zimmerman failed to disclose that information? Tsk tsk… perhaps she | Read More »
So much for backing another quitter…

I backed Cain… he quit… I backed Santorum… he just quit… In November I’ll vote for anyone than the Obama/Biden ticket unless I’m to sick to go to the polls… If I’m dead I’ll still vote but cannot guarantee it’ll be the way I would if alive (I live in PA) I am not happy with Romney likely winning, for a variety of reasons that | Read More »

Afghanistan…
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | March 20th at 04:13 PM |
In my opinion the problem with Afghanistan is very, very simple*. In many conflicts when the strategy shifts from “winning” to “not losing” losing is pretty much the end result. Whether you study history or just apply the concept to your home game (whatever it may be) it’s a startlingly obvious thing to those who never noticed it before. Original objective: Destroy AQ there and | Read More »

As if we don’t have enough problems that help gas prices go up… Pennsylvania economy getting flushed Oh-and it’ll hurt the whole northeast as well… good thing it’s happening right now in an election year and all – maybe some opportunist narcissistic politician will fix this to score points before denying the keystone pipeline… oh wait… that would assume that someone is on our side… | Read More »

Just got in a little bit ago and saw the current results for Alabama and Mississippi… it looks strong enough to hold on for Santorum to win both. Previously Romney won his “home” state, the one where he was raised in, by essentially one county going mostly for him and Gingrich/Santorum’s splitting of overlapping voters. Gingrich has clearly lost his home state and the other | Read More »
Question about gas prices…
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | March 13th at 01:27 AM |
If the statements from the O and his energy administrative assistant in the past that bringing US gas prices to European levels would help ease the US into alternative fuels/electric cars show their intent to break the US of it’s “bad energy habits” I have one question: Why hasn’t Europe had some previous breakthrough regarding electric vehicles? If Europe has had high gas prices for | Read More »
Chameleon karma, karma, karma…
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | March 6th at 11:07 PM |
Was listening to Mr. Savage’s radio show while driving home tonight and he was giving advice to Romney that came down to essentially change what you’re saying to get more support. It struck me that this is exactly a big problem in politics – people do change what they’re saying to be the chameleons they need to be to get elected and once they’re in | Read More »
Bomb Syria? Really?
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | March 5th at 04:39 PM |
When did the U.S. Military become an arm of the Muslim brotherhood (or whichever arm of Jihad crazed islamics is behind the Syrian unrest)? Seriously, McCain called for the U.S. to bomb Syria. Why? Why do we have to get involved in everyone’s civil wars these days? Really? Can’t we just let them sort it out themselves? Don’t give me the “oh boo-hoo it’s gonna | Read More »

Santorum?
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | January 23rd at 08:55 AM |
Maybe? A really good showing or a win in Florida might do it to push him up with or past Gingrich or Romney. Time will tell, I’ve been wrong before etc, but I think he’s positioned just right to pull out an upset.
South Carolina? Isn’t that where Romney failed last time around?
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | January 18th at 12:10 AM |
Wasn’t South Carolina the place where McCain and Huckabee allegedly ganged up with each other and beat Romney so badly he quit the 2008 race? Or am I thinking of West Virginia or something else? History tends to repeat itself… heck, it stutters pretty badly these days… in this case I’m all for it and crossing my fingers that anyone other than Romney wins South | Read More »

Cain quit? Argh…
By: anotherindyfilmguy (Diary) | December 5th at 03:45 PM |
Note to self… Argh… Ok… everyone for Romney or Gingrich (or whoever else) who whizzed all over Cain is now happy that he’s gone. I don’t see Cain ending his campaign as a ringing endorsement of the charges made against him. I do see it as another example of why the non-professional politicians are reluctant to step into the ring. Each set of accusations self | Read More »
