More Dem playbook in action, shredding GOP registrations

Sunday we warned that the Democrats would dust off their 2004 Election Playbook and engage in all kinds of shenanigans in an all out effort to do whatever it takes to ensure President Obama is reelected.

No sooner had the warning been published, than did the Des Moines Register and ABC News report about absentee ballot irregularities in Iowa.

Somehow a Democrat campaign worker gave his 75-year-old mother the impression that it was OK for her to sign his name on an absentee ballot request form when he wasn’t home. In addition, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was looking into unauthorized absentee ballot paperwork in which someone allegedly requested paperwork for an absentee ballot without the voter’s consent or knowledge:

“The DCI has approached paid Democratic Party staff to ask questions about allegations of unauthorized requests for absentee ballots in Floyd County, a party official confirmed. Norm Sterzenbach, the party’s executive director, said a DCI agent spoke briefly to three workers at the Organizing for America office in Charles City. The party’s attorneys then contacted the agent “and said if you need to talk to … any of our employees, have those conversations with our attorneys,” Sterzenbach said…”

Now, Monday evening, we learn that a so-called non-partisan organization was caught shredding Republican voter registrations:

Dem playbook in action, voting machines stealing Colorado

Some of you may remember how much fun the vote count was in Florida back in 2000. It seemed destined to go on forever until the U.S. Supreme Court stepped in. More of you may remember 2004 the last time we had a brutal get out the vote fight down to the wire. The DNC’s 2004 Colorado Election Manual is a helpful reminder of what Democrats can be expected to do to try win President Obama’s reelection. Page 54 of the manual instructs:

“If no signs of intimidation techniques have emerged yet, launch a pre-emptive strike…”

With the presidential contest too close to call, Obama’s Justice Department dispatching hundreds of lawyers to 23 states and Democrats having 2,500 lawyers stationed across Ohio, 600 in Cuyahoga County alone, to “monitor” elections there are bound to be more shenanigans than we can imagine. Don’t forget Obama’s Attorney General decided not to go after the New Black Panther Party members who were intimidating voters in 2008.

So it is troubling that we are hearing numerous reports of voting machines recording votes intended for Romney as votes for Obama.

Colorado’s KRDO NewsChannel 13 reports that the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office is investigating after more than a dozen Pueblo voters say voting machines switched their pick from Mitt Romney to Barack Obama.

One Romney voter, told KRDO that when she hit the touchscreen for Romney, a check mark appeared next to Obama’s name. She said she asked for help to fix the problem, but still feels unsure about her vote:

Romney vs. Obama still too close to call

Rasmussen Reports’ daily presidential tracking poll for Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, finds the presidential race tied at 46 percent for both Governor Romney and President Obama. If you count “leaners,” it’s tied at 48 percent. The Rasmussen tracker has had Romney and Obama tied or within a point of each other for each of the seven days since we reported  that Obama’s seven point lead | Read More »

    Obama permanently out to lunch

When even the media is starting to point out that the incumbent president is too busy campaigning for re-election to govern, you know you have a problem. Yet that’s precisely what the Associated Press noticed in a new report this morning. The first line: “It’s awfully quiet at the White House these days.” Sure, when you have a president who spends most of his time | Read More »

Obama’s seven point lead up in smoke

Gallup’s Presidential Election tracking poll for September 5-11 had President Obama leading Governor Romney by seven points 50% to 43%. Now the Gallup tracking poll shows that Obama’s seven point lead has gone up in the smoke from burning U.S. embassies. For the last two days Obama only leads Romney by a single point. That is why the biased media wing of the Democrats’ party | Read More »

    Do not submit

Do you have enough faith in you religious convictions and your belief in the First Amendment to refuse to submit to the murderous Muslim religious zealots who not only believe, but actually preach, that it is okay to murder innocent people simply because you perceive yourself to be offended by something? I’d like to think I do. My friend Peter Ingemi, also known as DaTechGuy, | Read More »

Obama’s U.N. Ambassador misleads America about Libya; earns two Pinocchios

Susan Rice, Obama’s ambassador to the United Nations, appeared on several of the Sunday morning news shows and mislead the American people by claiming the vicious attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, was unplanned and provoked only by an anti-Islam video. On CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Libya’s head of state, Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf, president of Libya’s | Read More »

Obama dosen’t care; ceremony for Benghazi victims edition

President Obama continues to tweet inappropriate, tone deaf and politically incorrect tweets at politically embarrassing moments. Friday, as Obama was about to participate in a solemn transfer of remains ceremony for the victims of the vicious attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Obama Tweeted: “@BarackObama Winter is coming, but these sweatshirts are perfect for fall: OFA.BO/rj5Tns” The ill-advised tweet was sent at 2:20 p.m. | Read More »

Blaming Romney, not terrorists, Obama fuels Middle East bloodshed

Like many Americans I spend time on September 11 contemplating the terror attacks. This year my contemplation didn’t end on the 11th. I have spent the entire week watching as riotous Muslim mobs, first in Egypt, then Libya, Tunisia, Yemen and Sudan attack U.S. embassies espousing hate for American values and belief. It got much worse. The hateful Muslim mobs multiplied throughout the Muslim world, | Read More »

    Happy ‘Deficit Day’

You are familiar with the Tax Foundation’s “Tax Freedom Day” — the date by which the average American has earned enough to pay his taxes for the year. This year Tax Freedom Day finally arrived on April 17th. To borrow a phrase from President Obama, let me be clear, on average Americans, must use every penny they earned from January 1st until April 17th to pay their taxes for the year.

One of my favorite economists, Professor Antony Davies, and his colleague, James R. Harrigan, suggest we also celebrate what they call “Deficit Day” to focus Americans’ attention on the on fact that we are headed to bankruptcy. They explain it all in an excellent article they published at Real Clear Markets.

Joe ‘good news for the president’ Scarborough is an embarrassment even for MSNBC

Just when you think that MSNBC can’t be any more in the tank for Obama’s reelection campaign, they managed this week to run the ball even further down the field. MSNBC, and their Comcast overlords, give loads of money to the Obama campaign, their hosts are all Obama defenders — so much so that they may as well slap the Obama 2012 logo on their TV chryon and call it a day.

MSNBC was treated like a celebrity in Charlotte. Apparently hundreds of convention-goers waited in rain and in lines to see MSNBC programs, and MSNBC swag items were among the hottest things to buy. Liberals are star struck with the network, and for good reason. MSNBC has repeatedly spun the Obama line in good times and in bad — especially in bad during this campaign. This isn’t a surprise, because money talks, and according to a recent report from ABC, employees from Comcast (MSNBC’s parent company) “have contributed more money to President Obama’s reelection bid than employees from any other organization.”

GAO confirms Obama changed welfare to work rules in another extra-legal power grab

In another blow to the so-called fact-checking propaganda wing of the Democrat Party, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), said yesterday that the Obama regime must give Congress the chance to block President Obama’s scheme that lets states change, some say “gut,” the Clinton-era welfare to work rules Obama long opposed:

“In July, the Obama administration offered states more latitude in how they can run cash-assistance programs that replaced the welfare system after the 1996 overhaul passed by Congress and signed in to law by President Bill Clinton. … ‘It must be submitted to Congress and the comptroller general before taking effect,’ wrote Lynn H. Gibson, GAO’s general counsel, in a letter to the lawmakers on Tuesday.”

    This is what Democrats believe?

I was a nonplussed last night when I saw the video played at the opening of the Democrats’ national convention, which actually states, “Government is the only thing we all belong to.”

That is such a foreign concept. To me Saying you belong to the government is like saying you are a subject of some monarch, or worse enslaved.

You can’t say it any better than Mitt Romney did:

We don’t belong to government, the government belongs to us.”

It is not surprising to me that the Obama campaign is already trying to distance itself from the ill-conceived tag line by claiming it was neither an OFA nor a DNC video.

What is surprising is that Democrats actually do believe we all belong to the government. Watch the following video put together by the good folks at Revealing Politics after Caleb Bonham and Kelly Maher interviewed convention-goers about the we belong to the government tag line.
