Biography:
I live in small city just north of Boston, Everett. I am a registered Republican in a state where most of the people that vote, just vote for the incumbent. Barney Frank should be in jail, or forced to resign, he would have if he had that dreaded (R) after his name, but he won almost 70% of the vote in his district with two opponents.
I am stuck with Ed Markey, he had an opponent this year, he was worse than a RINO, he was anti-war. I voted for him only because I usually write my name in rather than cast a vote for Ed Markey.
John Kerry also had an opponent, but I did not trust him, but voted for him anyway just to cast a vote against Kerry, again not a vote for myself.
I don’t have children, but this City has made a dress code for schools, no very short skirts, jeans that are too low. I am 49 years old, my father passed away 20 years ago, he was a die hard Dem, and campaigner. I remember being a little girl and seeing my father just a block or two away from my grade school with hats and sign to elect George McCarthy Mayor. My father was so effective as a campaigner, he got a call from then Gov. Volpe to ask him to be on his reelection campaign, my father refused simply because he was a Republican.
I was very young at the time, less than ten, my brother is 10 1/2 years older than I am and he told me that last year. I never knew that, my brother answered the phone when Gov. Volpe called.
