Does Georgia Right to Life Now Support Embryonic Stem Cell Research?
I am guessing Dan Becker and Georgia Right to Life are just fine and dandy with embryonic stem cell research. They don’t like Karen Handel funding cervical cancer screenings, but they love them some Nathan Deal despite his support for a Henry Waxman backed piece of legislation funneling $500 million to the abortion industry explicitly for abortions. Well, Nathan Deal also signed on to NANCY | Read More »

Why Tiahrt Matters
A millimeter. A centimeter. An inch. They are all measures of distance. Even the smallest of them measures some distance. Our job this year as conservatives is to put some distance between us and the left. In doing so, it is our job to push the Senate Republican to the right. Every inch counts when dealing with 100 senators and 40 or 50 Republicans.Every inch.In Kansas, | Read More »
Taxation Without Representation
On this day in 1764, James Otis, Jr., a Massachusetts lawyer, published his thoughts on taxation, coining the phrase “taxation without representation” in the process. Consider this an open thread.

Georgia Right To Life Supports Candidate Who Voted For Abortion Funding
Hypocrisy, thy name is Georgia Right to Life. Today, Georgia Right to Life attacked Georgia gubernatorial candidate Karen Handel for funding Planned Parenthood when Handel chaired the Fulton County Commission in Georgia. The funding had actually been approved before Handel got there and the money was designated for cancer screenings with Planned Parenthood doing the cancer screenings instead of the county. Your money? The government’s “income”
There was an interesting comment made on the floor of the United States Senate yesterday.I first noticed in from Senator Jim DeMint’s twitter feed. DeMint tweeted, “Sen. Dorgan just said a vote for tax cuts is a vote to ‘reduce this country’s income. To Democrats, it’s the government’s money. Not yours.” Really? I mean it wouldn’t surprise me, but we rarely hear the Democrats speak | Read More »
Eric Boehlert of Media Matters Race Baits on GMA
Please take a moment to watch the debate on Good Morning America between Eric Boehlert of Media Matters for America and Andrew Brietbart of, among other outlets, Big Government. Eric Boehlert states the following about the Tea Party movement: There are clearly racist elements. If you look at the Tea Party media, Glenn Beck is now saying that Barack Obama is orchestrating a race war. Rush Limbaugh is saying | Read More »

Collecting scalps at what cost?
I’m torn on saying anything about this, but think the better part of valor requires me to speak up on this. The Shirley Sherrod debate reminds me of Rush Limbaugh trying to buy the St. Louis Rams. For three days after the announcement reporters, news anchors, “legitimate” “journalists” brought up several Limbaugh quotes that painted him as a racist. For three days these “legitimate” people in | Read More »
I Think Cinamon Has Been Replaced By A Shadowy Cabal of Priests
We’ve mentioned before Jane Norton’s reliance on Cinamon out in Colorado. Cinamon helps Jane Norton answer her questions.I was shocked and appalled to hear this public radio interview with Jane Norton. Instead of relying on Cinamon for advice on how to deal with illegal alients, Jane Norton is instead relying on “hispanic clergy.”Their advice? Don’t send illegals home. Give them community service then let them | Read More »

Members of the Media Plotted To Shut Down Coverage of Jeremiah Wright
It is as we all suspected. It was the moment of greatest peril for then-Sen. Barack Obama’s political career. In the heat of the presidential campaign, videos surfaced of Obama’s pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, angrily denouncing whites, the U.S. government and America itself. Obama had once bragged of his closeness to Wright. Now the black nationalist preacher’s rhetoric was threatening to torpedo Obama’s campaign. | Read More »
