Oops. Donald Trump lost the lead again, and probably never had it.

Much attention was given to Donald Trump having a remarkably good polling week, one just barely good enough to give him a less-than-1% lead in the polling average. But that’s gone, as a freak outlier poll that gave him the lead, was retaken. Result: Hillary Clinton on top.

BREAKING: Donald Trump Officially Clinches Republican Nomination

Well, this just makes official what we all knew would be true: the AP is reporting that according to their count, Donald Trump now has 1,238 delegates, one more than the 1,237 he needed to clinch the nomination. In honor of this occasion, here is video of one of the hundreds of times that John Kasich promised that no one was going to get 1,237 | Read More »

Manafort: Don’t Expect Trump to Pander to Women or Minorities with his VP Pick

If there is one thing that has become apparent, it’s that no one really knows who is running the asylum when it comes to picking Trump’s VP. One thing we know is that Ben Carson is out, but beyond that there is a more or less constant war via leak going on between Manafort and Lewandowski about everything, including who is in charge of the | Read More »

Rust Belt Poll Of Middle Income Voters Show Trump In Deep Trouble

We know Donald Trump is about as popular with minorities and women as a flamboyant gay man is in Saudi Arabia. Recently, Trump’s approval numbers with married women — a usually very solid GOP voting bloc — was in the 70’s….on the negative side. Where Trump is supposedly going to make his play is with middle class working white people. There have been pro-Trump dunderheads | Read More »

Trump: The Case Against Opting Out

From the diaries – Caleb No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.… Winston Churchill; 1947, the House of Commons. Donald Trump Wants Keystone Pipeline IF Everybody Gets A Little Taste $$

Donald Trump had a strange press conference today, a practically giddy one, following the tragic realization that he has clinched the nomination. At one point, Trump was asked about the Keystone Pipeline for some reason and his answer was, in keeping with the theme … odd. Donald Trump says he would 'absolutely' approve Keystone XL pipeline https://t.co/l33qlOpVeF — Global Calgary (@GlobalCalgary) May 26, 2016 I | Read More »

Marco Rubio Proves that Trump was Right About Him

Well, if anyone had any hopes that Rubio would at the very least not spend his remaining few months boosting Donald Trump’s candidacy for the Presidency, it looks like you can let go of those. Rush Limbaugh: ‘REAL’ Women Like Donald Trump

Bro. wat. Rush Limbaugh made quite a claim today, stating that real women like Donald Trump. So if you don’t like Trump, well … To summarize, “real” women like Trump because he’s a “real” man because he isn’t “afraid” to say insulting things. OK. Here’s a transcript, from RushLimbaugh.com: You know, I have a theory, folks. I think one of the reasons that real women | Read More »

Colorado Taxpayers Should Not Bailout Obamacare Medicaid

Since Obamacare passed, Colorado’s Medicaid rolls have more than doubled–including a large addition of able-bodied, childless adults – and it’s only going to get worse. Enterprising the fee will not fix the fact that our state elected officials opted into Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion, burdening our taxpayers and syphoning funds from the budget. Currently, 1 in 4 Coloradans are on Medicaid, when just six years ago it was 1 in 10. This move has aided in pushing our state budget spending on healthcare to well over 30%.

Jeb Bush Still Has More Congressional Endorsements than Donald Trump

I guess the general assumption out there is that everyone on the Republican side is falling in line behind Donald Trump. The reality, however, is a little more complicated. Today, Rep. Ryan Zinke of Montana endorsed Trump – which shockingly made him only the 12th sitting member of Congress to formally endorse Trump. How anemic is Trump’s support among elected GOP officials? Well, Jeb Bush | Read More »

Obama Takes Thinly Veiled Pot Shots at Sanders during Asia Press Conference

Via Realtimepolitics, President Obama gave a press conference during his Asia trip this morning, and he was asked for his opinion on the increasingly contentious Democratic primary. Obama has been about as neutral as one can possibly be throughout this process even though Clinton is his former Secretary of State, and for good reason: he doesn’t need to give Sanders more ammo to say that | Read More »

Can Smart Gun Technology Be Used To Cure Gun Grabbers Of Stupidity?

President Obama, in one of his latest attempts to remain relevant in his final year in office, is once again embracing “smart gun” technology as some sort of magic elixir to cure society of criminals committing crimes with guns. Obama and his ilk employ the term “gun violence” as if an inanimate object can somehow injure or kill on its own. Perhaps that’s why the | Read More »
