    Andrew Sullivan, the British writer for Newsweek and the Daily Beast , is truly unique. He was a big supporter of George W. Bush early in his term, before becoming disillusioned with Bush and conservatives in general over the Iraq War, Enhanced Interrogation Policies, and gay rights.
