Hope and Change Redux: President Obama DNC 2012
By: T Christopher (Diary) | September 7th at 02:54 AM |
Four years ago, Senator Barack Obama traveled a road that ultimately led him to the White House by riding on a message of Hope and Change that promised to change American politics for a generation; and perhaps, forever. It was a promise of a new future; a new era; of a government open and responsive to the people it served. It was a dream wrapped in | Read More »
Obama Surrogates Refuse to Answer Threshold Question “Are We Better Off than Four Years Ago?”
By: T Christopher (Diary) | September 2nd at 04:23 PM |
As is the case most weeks, Sunday’s political news programs had a clear recurring theme – ducking the threshold question of this and every presidential election since Ronald Reagan so brilliantly raised it – “Are the American People better off today than they were four years ago?” With Democrats gathering for their national convention in Charlotte, the talking head circuit was riddled with Obama surrogates and | Read More »
Manchester United on New York Stock Exchange? Soccer GIANT an Emerging Growth Company Under Obama JOBS Act
By: T Christopher (Diary) | August 4th at 02:25 PM |
The average American sports enthusiast typically struggles to come to grips with the fact that “sport” exists outside the realm of the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NCAA. Check out the reaction every time Forbes throws out a list of the Most Valuable Sports Franchises or Highest Paid Athletes if you don’t believe me. The fact that soccer even makes the list(s) is mind-boggling to some. Because | Read More »

By: T Christopher (Diary) | July 17th at 12:54 PM |
Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain made an appearance on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace this morning and put his candidacy on full display for an electorate/viewing audience very much ready for a candidate to take command of the primary campaign. Opening the interview with a reference to his last appearance where he dropped the ball on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict saying “I’m exercising my right | Read More »
Senator Bob Corker: A Voice of Reason in a Town of Ridiculousness
By: T Christopher (Diary) | July 15th at 04:04 PM |
“We Go About Our Business Almost as Zombies.” “Leadership Does Not Want Us to Make Hard Decisions.” “The Senate is absolutely dysfunctional; and it’s dysfunctional because neither side wants to engage in the tough decisions of the day.” “The fact is that we are all sort of two-bit pawns in all of this by allowing our country to continue to spend money.” I was beginning to | Read More »
“Post-Racial Politics” The Left Doubles Down on Race Baiting for 2012
By: T Christopher (Diary) | April 29th at 04:06 PM |
A tree of inspiration with Donald Trump at the root of it is hardly one under which I plan to sit and ponder the wonders of the universe anytime soon. Nor is it the place most desirable for measuring the gravity of the current political quagmire our Party now finds itself at the center of. The apple appears rather large and even a Trump-styled hair piece won’t suffice to cushion its inevitably imminent fall. But even with the weight and the potential energy of a two-year Republican reign at the head of the nation’s purse in the House of Representatives; and even when the President has been blessed with the opportunity to move to the “center” if only because he moved the definition of the Left so ridiculously far West of the Mississippi; the Left still stands ready to call upon another weapon always willing and ready at its disposal; rather than go with the brainlessly winnable hand it has been dealt…

Wasserman Schultz a Big “Get” for President Obama, DNC
By: T Christopher (Diary) | April 6th at 02:00 PM |
Every once in a while, you just have to tip your hat to the other side; offer up the “well done”; and prepare yourself for the fight ahead. Yesterday was regrettably one of those unfortunate days for our side, if we’re still in the business of being “honest” that is. I try to be, so I can admit it. Dems scored a few yesterday with their selection of Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz to potentially head the DNC and replace outgoing Tim Kaine. On balance, yesterday’s score was probably somewhere close to 99-1 with the release of Rep Ryan’s Path to Prosperity; but at least they got on the scoreboard.
