Community organizing in Phoenix, AZ using the desert’s most precious resource: water

Water is AZ’s most precious resource.  It is much more expensive than in other states.  That’s OK.  Everyone who lives in the desert understands that we must use the resource prudently.  However, Arizonans are hurting right now.  The housing collapse has directly or indirectly hurt everyone who lives here.  Last year, the water company raised rates by 9%.  This year they want another increase of | Read More »

    What has happened to us?

I just watched the NBA pregame show for Knicks vs. Heat on TNT.  For some bizarre reason, the commentators brought up Sarah Palin.  The next thing I heard was that she was “masturbation material”, not once, but twice.  Why in the hell does a sports show need to bring up Sarah Palin?  And why does she need to be sexualized?  Forget politics for a moment.  | Read More »

    The Dems/Progressives final election push.

They now control the banking, auto, and health care industries.  They control 90% of the education system.  They want to put the final nail in the coffin and get the last 10%.  Have you noticed Obama’s new talking points are about education?  NBC is advertising some sort of education special that sounds like it will have all the answers to our failing schools.  Get ready | Read More »

Bob Cesca throws down the gauntlet at Huffington Post.

If this doen’t make you want to slap those smug little progressive faces, I don’t know what will. Before we get into it, though, it’s important to note here the broiling GOP problem in Delaware: the conservative tea party gaggle hates Mike Castle because he’s a moderate Republican. In fact, according to Will Bunch, it was a Mike Castle town hall meeting where we saw | Read More »

    And so it begins….

WASHINGTON (AFP) – A small group of conservative Christians tore some pages from a Koran in a protest outside the White House Saturday to denounce what they called the “charade of Islam” on the anniversary of 9/11. “Part of why we’re doing that, please hear me: the charade that Islam is a peaceful religion must end,” said Randall Terry, a leading anti-abortion campaigner, and one | Read More »

John Goss, Obama’s Asian carp czar

Welcome to the latest, we-have-to-act-now-or-life-as-we-know-it-is-over, crisis.  I don’t want to minimize the problem of the Asian carp, but does it require a czar? On a conference call today with Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin and other congressional leaders, President Obama’s Council on Environmental Quality announced the selection of John Goss to lead the near $80 million, multi-pronged federal attack against Asian carp. The challenge for Goss, | Read More »

    Obama: Al Qaeda is racist.

Just when we thought we had heard it all… From HotAir: Speaking about the Uganda bombings, the president said, “What you’ve seen in some of the statements that have been made by these terrorist organizations is that they do not regard African life as valuable in and of itself. They see it as a potential place where you can carry out ideological battles that kill | Read More »

Has anyone noticed Obama’s fake gray hair?

He seems to get very gray when he is being interviewed without his teleprompter.  Is that to garner sympathy?  The next day we will see a picture, and he hardly has any gray hair.  This may seem like a silly comment, but I put nothing past these people.  It’s like the rolling up of his shirtsleeves.  The puppet’s handlers know nothing but spin.

I went to an OFA “rally” in Scottsdale, AZ.

It was at the Railroad Park at Scottsdale Rd/Indian Bend on Sat. 6/5 from 9-12.  I thought it was an odd location.  The park is a big draw for families and in an area that’s not too happy with Obama right now.  I figured it was payback for Harry Mitchell’s health care vote that ignored 90% of his constitutents.  I don’t know what I expected, | Read More »

New York is considering adding an additional 11% millionaire state tax

Chalk up another brilliant move by the progressive state of New York.  There will not be one entrpreneur or executive left in the state.  I have a feeling they will be moving to Christie’s New Jersey.  Assuming the NJ taxes are lower.  Does anyone have data on this?

OMG-I just saw exerpts from Obama’s NBA interview

With all hell breaking loose in the world, he is interviewing about NBA basketball!  From the man who hasn’t had a press conference in a year.  What a nice touch….”When the girls are tucked into bed”, he catches some of the games.  And the commentators gush about how knowledgable he is about the game.  Well gee, I’m glad it’s more than he knows about baseball.  | Read More »

Obama canceled the Poland trip to play GOLF?

From Drudge: http://www.wbj.pl/article-49272-obama-goes-golfing-instead-of-attending-kaczynskis-funeral.html?typ=wbj How convenient to have a volcano eruption.  You wouldn’t want to waste a pretty day in Washington.  The psychiatric profession needs to come up with a new term for a condition that is narcissism x 10.  I have never been so ashamed of a president.  Not even when slick Willy asked “what is the definition of is?”

    Strategic error?

Over the last 9 months, I have sent several letters with the same theme to the blue dogs.  In this age of infinite internet choices, where we all make individual decisions in the last remaining free market, how do the Dems expect to impose a one-size-fits-all cumbersome government controlled health care system?  Let’s see….infinite choices vs. the slog of government bureaucracy.  Gee…what does one decide?  I | Read More »

Tuesday 3/16 at 12 noon–drive by your representative’s office and HONK NO on the health care bill.

    New dem strategy

Divide and conquer.  Attack right-wing, gun-toting, pro-life, Bible thumping teabaggers.  Do independents and moderates REALLY want to vote for the uber right?  We must stay strong and united.
