Give yourself a time out and come play Staff the Romney Administration

Have a headache? Are your eyes and ears going to start bleeding if you read or hear about one more stupid, inept action by the most corrupt presidency in our beloved nation’s history? Take a little break and help appoint the Romney Administration’s cabinet (do they still call it that?) and staff.

This is my thought. I’ll start the ball rolling  with The Newt. Sometimes you need a clone, but since we don’t allow that (and for good reason) I finally decided where he would be at his best. Now, there are many places Newt would  be an asset to a President Romney, but to me the absolute best position would be as Press Secretary. Can you imagine the press having to meet with The Newt at least once a day, sometimes more? What fun that would be! Would they beg their bosses to give them a demotion so attendance wouldn’t be in their job description any more? Wouldn’t you like to be the fly on the wall as he puts them in their place? It nearly makes me giddy just thinking about it.

Give us your nominations and why you think that person would be an asset – seriously or a little tongue-in-cheek. As our world loses its collective mind before our eyes, take a minute or two’s vacation from the madness.

    - Secretary of State: Ambassador John R. Bolton
    - Secretary of Defense: Governor Rick Perry
    - Secretary of the Treasury: Larry Kudlow
    - Press Secretary: Newt Gingrich, agree with you there, I would eat a lot more popcorn with Newt as Press Sec.!
    - Attorney General: Governer Chris Cristie with instructions to clean it out and prosecute all the law breaking done in the previous administration.
    - Energy: Governor Sarah Palin with instructions to “shut ‘er down!”
    - Education: Governor Tim Pawlenty with instructions to devolve authority to the individual States and “”shut ‘er down!”
    - Health and Human Services: Congressman Ron Paul M.D. keep him out of trouble and bring some market oriented problem solving to this agency.
    - Transportation: Senator Rand Paul, M.D. with instructions to disband the TSA and devolve the agency back to the States then “shut ‘er down!”

      audax:
Ditto, until Energy. I select Senator James Inhofe, EPA Loather extrodinaire.
      *Education: Herman Cain
      * HHS: Senator Barasso, (sic?) Wy. He’s a doctor. Also consider Sen. Tom Coburn.
*Transportation: Alan Mullally, CEO of Ford M/C, if he’ll do it. He’s conversant with Cars and Airplane-thingies {See: Boeing}….and he knows how to build coalitions.
      * On second thought ; SecDef: Rep. West, {R.-Fla)?

On second thought lets leave all the GOP Senators in the Senate unless there is a Conservative GOP Governor that would appoint someone even more conservative-noun.
As for Allen West, Lt Col to Congresscritter to SecDef is a big jump, but would work!
Education, Energy, and Transportation are all Dept’s I’d like to see shut down, so really doesn’t matter who handles their demise, as long as they kill the departments.

I actually do have a headache…the liberal press is totally out there once again kissing Obama’s backside and out and out supporting him for another 4 years. As each day passes they worry less and less about being biased. The only saving grace would be the small size of their audience – liberals are still less than 50% of American society. However Republicans aren’t over that 50% either. SIGH!
Loved sitting here thinking about cabinet posts. I’ve always thought Newt would be great as Press Secretary also. I agree that other candidates should be considered. Would like Rick Perry but don’t know as what. For Defense I’d like Sen. Allen West. I would like Rick Santorium to be Education. Cain should definitely by Treasurer and Christie is a great choice for Attorney General. My biggest change is Sarah Palin, she would make the best Secretary of State, even though I’ve been complaining for years that we need men to fill that position in order to get the Middle East to take us seriously. So I guess John Bolton is a good fit.
What I’m actually thinking about lately that if we could just get Romney/Ryan into the White House one of the first things I’d like them to do is FIRE Obama’s dozens of Czars. I hope Romney will not surround himself only with people who say what he wants to hear. Is there no one on Obama’s team telling him his policies for 4 more years will NOT make a positive change for America?

Great ideas here. I would love to see Darrell Issa as Attorney General.. He would definitely keep us entertained going after as many of the crooks in this administration as possible. And he would stop the assault against states the current administration is engaging in on a daily basis. I would prefer him over Christie.

I’d like to see McCain as Secretary of Defense. I’d really enjoy seeing Newt involved as well, though that’s a bit of a long shot. The devil in me would like to see Ron Paul as Secretary of the Treasury just to see what he’d do, but I know that would never happen.
