I have mixed feelings.

The best world would be that private lenders shore up CIT, keeping the government's hands our of its pockets, that people who know how to run a business will step in reform CIT as necessary - which since it's their money at stake I'd have much more confidence than a government with a thuggish agenda.

If not, the question become whether we're better off with the short-term pain of credit dislocations to small business vs. the government taking over credit access to small business. The latter opens the door to long-term coercion and intimidation - which has been the hallmark of this administration.

Tough call, but I'm inclined to think that we're better off with the government not taking over another bank - even if the Obama Administration acting for the wrong reasons.

It sure as hell ain't the little guy small business, it sure as hell ain't the minority neighborhoods that suffer from unemployment and poverty that sometimes is double than the national average.

So he wants to increase the bailouts that started with Bush for Goldman Sachs, and to libtard groups like Acorn, but he sure as hell doesn't represent me.
