You can flip this coin over however way you want, anyway you want, however many times you want. We still come up with this result: America is ruled by despotism.
Strategies, no strategies, stupidity, conivery, bribery, ignroance … silence.
For all the silence of the media, who has cultivated the interests of mainstream America into the likes of American Idol and Fear Factor, the press is dead and in its wake, despotism has arisen.
Bread and circus.
And for all the little pulses and flutter — like the following — it all just means the same thing:
A.) There is no Ministry of Polling that mandates Congressional Obedience
B.) Evil exists in the world.
Ferrechio at the Washington Examiner: “Voters More Concerned About the Deficit Than Health Care”
Voters are still more worried about the nation’s $12 trillion deficit than overhauling health care, a new poll found.
Rasmussen Reports surveyed voters and 42 percent rated cutting the deficit as the top priority. Just 22 percent said health care reform is the most important agenda item for the president.
Among those questioned, 70 percent said cutting the deficit in half is the goal the president is least likely to achieve while 6 percent said health care is the goal he is least likely to accomplish.
The poll also found that 41 percent of voter favor the health care reform proposal legislation but 55 are opposed to it.
We’re not talking about dumb lawmakers anymore who don’t listen.
They don’t listen for a reason. Have you figured it out yet? No?
You’ve no idea they’re in the power-management business for themselves and not to make easier for you and me, the taxpayer?
Read:
Apart from any public option, the Democrats’ health care reform bills would mandate that individuals have health insurance, expand Medicaid, provide income-based premium subsidies, guarantee issue of coverage without pre-existing-condition exclusions, prohibit premiums based on health, and limit age-related premium variation.
[R]equiring people to buy health insurance is a recipe for higher costs and centralized control of health care and insurance.
A mandate requires explicitly defining the types and amounts of services that must be insured, with the federal government as arbiter of what care is reimbursed. A mandate also leads to government setting prices.
[T]he mandate and rating restrictions would require many people to buy coverage they didn’t want, often at premium rates higher than their expected costs of care. Younger and healthier people would pay higher premiums to help finance coverage for older and less healthy people.
The implicit taxes embedded in this system have created pressure for larger and more costly premium subsidies, and for weak penalties for noncompliance. The result will be even higher average premiums as older and less healthy uninsured people sign up, while many younger and healthier people wait until they need costly care.
This isn’t better. This isn’t about “insuring millions,” because people will still be uninsured.
Will it get any cheaper? No. Haven’t you noticed how the cost of stamps have gone up? And for what? The federal government will control the entire health industry, like they do the postal service. The price of stamps goes up to fund the massive bureaucracy for — yes! — the stupid postal service!
Can you imagine the bureaucracy that’s being set up for this socialized healthcare horror?? It’s a 2700 page bill! Two thousand seven hundred pages to set up a new bureaucracy filled with newly-minted state workers! STATE WORKERS!
.. but I know I’m speaking to the choir. Anyone who comes to this page knows what’s going on. Those who don’t have already drowned themselves in their Christmas wrapping and are unconcerned with the details, which just absolutely frustrates me.
So, between you and me, who “know” — I’m livid. I hate these men. I hate that they don’t love our country, don’t love their fellow countryman and would rather have tea and chitchat with someone across the globe than have some common decency and work hard to improve America, not their power position.
I dream of God- and country-loving Mercenary Congressmen who go to Washington, knowing their time there is limited. Knowing their objective isn’t to win favors for their state and look good in the eyes of their constituency, because getting re-elected isn’t their purpose. They know it, the people who suppor them know it. Knowing that they’re there to do what’s right in the eyes of God and their fellow men, because to betray trust and honor is to betray themselves, their souls. Mercenary Congressmen who do things courageously, mightily, quickly, with a steadfast, burning, determined love for America, who’s ideals are .. almong the endangered. Wiped off the face of the earth?
No fricking fluff or “hope”-BS. I want strength. And a record behind the words. A family. A neighborhood. Not a bunch of radicals or rebels with rhetoric. A humble man who’s still a bad-ass.
Just a strong, all-American good-guy. Or good gal.
But I want him mean and determined. Honest and sincere. And able to smell a rat a mile away.
This is here.

avgamerican (Diary) Wednesday, December 23rd at 9:21PM EST (link)A co-worker told me today that Presdent Obama has signed an executive order ceding police power over our sovreignty to international peace keeping forces. I haven’t confirmed this information but if true, it sounds like this administration is preparing for the eventuality of civil unrest and does not trust the loyalty of local police or our own military.
I saw your post in another thread
Veronica (Diary) Wednesday, December 23rd at 11:23PM EST (link).. I remembered them saying the same thing when the towers came down.
And I’m considering this is coming from Lord Monckton’s video that was circulated in October pre-COP 15.
At this point, I would consider it a rumor until the conservative blogs start to catch wind of .. something.
Alarmists and apocalyptists like to hype.

avgamerican (Diary) Wednesday, December 23rd at 9:42PM EST (link)The loss of nationalism is like a vacum. What were seeing now could not have happened in the 1950s. Today loyalty goes only as far as a bribe (earmark). Another thing, can you imagine what the US citizens would have received Barack Obama or Nancy Pelosi in 1955?
BHO & NP are smoking the same dope radicals were smoking then.
Veronica (Diary) Wednesday, December 23rd at 11:24PM EST (link)yes.. sad to see the loss of Americanism.
Americana, there’s plenty of.
Nationalism, not so much.
