Barack Beefcake Photos: Is the Secret Service Doing Its Job?

Paparazzi photos of a vacationing Barack Obama and family appeared on the internet yesterday.

Washington Post: Paparazzi Photog Gets a ‘Pec-tacular’ Obama Shot

Which raises a few troubling questions:

  1. If someone can get that close to my President with a camera … oh, my Lord, I can’t even complete the thought.
  2. Assuming the Secret Service is capable and was doing its job, have we just elected Brangelina?
  3. Can Barack Obama promise us no more of this (WARNING: Not safe for work/small children/incontinent seniors. Listerine eyewash may be required!):

    Obama will happen to come across a little pile of rocks on an otherwise pristine beach in Hawaii that he forms into a peace symbol without realizing that 25 press photographers are standing behind a tree a couple of feet away.
