LA & Hollywood are going down the tubes thanks to Waxman

Among Westwood, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and (worst of all) Santa Monica, that district is virtually unwinnable. (Agoura Hills and Calabasas should help, but I’m guessing they’re not enough…)

But, I agree – the Party must keep running people on the off chance one day the idjits in that district will wake up and cast the fool off.

Just don’t get your hopes up…

I was sure this originated from Rio Linda, or Port St. Lucie.

What gets me is: How do these people hold down a job long enough to purchase a camcorder, or a sprinkler, or a backyard? Or InterWebs access?

  • DONTREADONME

a refractive index that is different for the different wavelengths of light; therefore, it acts like a prism when broadband light (that is not your compact fluorescent lightbulbs people) travels through it. If the water spray was large enough you would see the secondary rainbow that is inverted caused by reflection of the first rainbow.

Anyway, that was the funniest video I have ever seen. I just sent that out to a few friends for a great big laugh.

  • avgamerican

You can usually find lots of these people in CA. That’s why CA is a blue state and their representatives love them for it.

  • http://andrightlyso.com/ civil_truth

    No challenge to it.

here and you really do have to wonder what’s in that California water!

    I don’t think it’s metal oxide salts…

but I hardly think she has the talent for it. The end of the video says Northern California, so it probably isn’t Waxman’s district. There are plenty of losers in the House to pick from.

BTW, the weird twisting of the camera is so that the woman can find the off/stop button.

She took down the original of the sprinker so I assumed they were all gone.

I’d found her a while back.. I can’t tell if she’s genuinely schizophrenic or just a troll, though.

      • randy streu

turns out, she may be a genuine loony. Now I feel kinda bad for laughing at her.

I cant hate the nuts. Its like hating people with mental disabilities.

When I can I like listnening to the kooks on George Noory’s radio show. I actually find about a third of it interesting and the other two-thirds, I just like to laugh and hear how crazy people can be. There is nothing like listening to a good alien conspiracy segment 2:30 in the morning

  • mom2oneson

but she thinks there is a problem and has these conclusions???
If I ever can I’m going to donate a set of those books like science with light, mirror, magnets, plants, mirrors, water to our local branch library. I’m now SOOO glad I was able to get them for my son to read from the main library when he was little! Thank goodness for that library truck that carries books from one library to another!!

    • randy streu

Water, vapor, gravity, electricty… the list goes on and on and on. She probably thinks the dust floating in sun rays near her window are evidence of government nano-bots hiding in the homes of every American.

      • randy streu

        nt

    • Raven

The people who need them don’t go to the library anymore.

      • mom2oneson

How am I going to find children unable to get to the library and give them books? I need books for my son and we still use the library in two different counties. I understand not having the bus fare/transportation or health to get to the library but not sure how I could give books to them without knowing them.

        • Raven

          I believe I said they “don’t go.”

          BIG difference.

And I’ll bet the vast majority of kids you know fall into that category.

    • stoicsophist

“Thank goodness for that library truck that carries books from one library to another!!”

      Socialist.

  • GT350

Her video cites Northern California. That’s pure Berkeley nuttery, right there. I’m willing to bet she’s a Barbara Lee voter.

Sadly, this lady’s comments don’t sound particularly out of touch for some of the nuts we have here in Bay Area.

And what is even more appalling is that it is displayed for all the world to see on the internet, and she doesn’t seem to even understand how uneducated and ignorant this shows her to be.

This is one bad side-effect of the internet… She could use its resources to educate herself….but she won’t.

And, unfortunately, she is not the only one out in “cyber-space” that is doing this sort of thing….

    • stoicsophist

Dude, she has a video of a contrail titled “Genetic Data Machine Code Substrate See link peerascent AmbiScripts and DARPA BAA 09-40 link” in which she compares its shape to the Microsoft sybols font, which is supposed to prove the existence of some sinister conspiracy.

She’s not lazy and she’s not ignorant–she’s *schizophrenic*. You can’t eduate your self out of that.

      • stoicsophist

        Apparently, neither can I.

SWMBO wants to see her mother and sisters who live in a little farming town just over the pass from SFO/OAK and it wouldn’t do for me to have a vacation too and just stay home alone. People COME to Alaska in August, they don’t leave for some little hole of a town in the land of fruits and nuts! At least Alaska Airlines now serves Sacramento from Seattle, so we don’t have to actually go to SFO or OAK.

Only redeeming factor is there’s a county fair going on and we have tickets to see Gretchen Wilson and Josh Turner. Hopefully, I’ll be allowed to sit quietly by the pool reading the rest of my time down there. There’s all sorts of excitement and big plans but I guarantee you that by the third day two of the sisters will have ganged up on the third and by the end of the first week none of them will be speaking to each other. It’s always a different combination but always the same result. That used to be OK back when both their husbands were semi-employed construction worker types and when it got like that, we could all just take off up into the hills and shoot squirrels and stuff. Now both of them have steady jobs, so I don’t have anyone to play with and am stuck with a bunch of angry women.

I lived there for a short time. My mom & brother live in Manteca. The Valley is nice, but I can’t stand the summers there.

      • Achance

especially when you’re from a place where sixty degrees has everyone in shorts and tee shirts.

        • RepMom

I live 15 minutes south of Patterson down the highway – we are in the *really* fun part of summer that the thermometer says 100 but it feels like 110 – at least…

Enjoy the fair – get there for the concerts early enough that you get a good seat (there is no reserved seating)!!! They used to do the concerts in the arena, but have since moved them to the middle of the fairgrounds so they are “free” with the price of admission.

          Anyway – enjoy your vacation!!!

And I agree with Mom2, you have a descriptive way with words about life… Authentic, calls it like he sees it.

I don’t know what to say about California, I’ve been waiting for it to fall off into the ocean, if the San Andreas Fault gets going.

      • Achance

wi-fi access. We’re staying at her mother’s place and she doesn’t have internet access. One sister has high speed, so I won’t be completely isolated.

I’d just rather have done this in, say, February as a stop off to or from Mexico. February is a really good time NOT to be in Juneau, Alaska. August is usually warm, or what passes for warm here, not too rainy early in the month usually. The rain starts for real in late August and only stops when it turns to snow in October. The days are already getting noticably shorter; it gets pretty much fully dark at night now and if it’s clear it drops down into the forties at night but gets into the seventies or even low eighties by mid-afternoon.
