Longtime Democratic operative Jack Shaw was found dead in his apartment on Tuesday. Shaw was one of several dozen connected Democrats arrested in a public-corruption roundup in the Garden State. The prosecutor of Hudson County rated the death ‘suspicious’. although no weapon was found. “It could be natural, it could be accidental, it could be suicide,” he said, without elaboration.
