President Barack Obama, in a Nationally televised speech, expressly labeled the Fort Hood massacre a “Terrorist Attack”.  He went on to heap praise on American intelligence networks for their fine work in discovering that the whole “Nidal Malik Hasan” identity is a sham.

In fact, President Obama announced, the perpetrator’s real name is Borg Gundarson, and he is a member of an Icelandic terrorist cell operating in the United States. The President stated that there are a number of such cells within our borders. Apparently they snuck into the U.S. through our lightly guarded border with Canada.

According to highly classified intelligence reports, these groups derisively refer to the U.S. as a “Secret Hideout for Icelandic Terrorists”.

An angry President Obama said that he is taking immediate action to close the Canadian border to make sure no more of these Icelandic terrorists sneak into the U.S. He plans to deploy the 81^st Airborne Division and the 101^st Airborne Division to seal the border from the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Coast. “After all,” said Obama, “any Nation that will not defend its own borders must be prepared for the consequences.” Further, he is dispatching the Atlantic Fleet to the area.

Obama stated that he is particularly upset that “Borg” and his compatriots would attempt to place the blame for their murderous attack on peace loving Muslims!  “In fact,” the President stated, “I have instructed American Intelligence forces to thoroughly explore the possibility that Icelandic terrorists were behind the 2001 attacks on the Twin Towers and the attack on the USS Cole.”

In attempt to cover all his bases, the President apologized profusely to the Japanese people in case it should turn out that Icelandic terrorists were responsible for the attacks on Pearl Harbor. He also apologized to Jews and Christians, citing the possible involvement of Icelanders in the Holocaust and the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ!

“I should have suspected this immediately,” Obama said. “Given that island’s long history of violent terrorists acts, this murderous attack certainly comes as no surprise.

As soon as I saw the name “Nidal Malik Hasan” I knew immediately that something was not right. To the best of my knowledge, in the entire history of the world, there has never been a terrorist type attack perpetrated by a devout Muslim!”

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.

It is really hard to comprehend the ineptness of the current Administration. Obama is not just making George Bush look good, he is actually making Jimmy Carter look good!

Not satisfied with the “Chicago Olympics” debacle, he is now diligently at work setting himself up for an even harder fall. As previously discussed, having claimed ownership of the “good” war in Afghanistan, he now finds himself with a difficult choice to make. If he sides with his Generals and sends a large number of additional troops, he risks the certain fury of the Left Wing of his won party. He endangers votes he desperately needs to realize his dream of a socialist America. Can it be that he is actually thinking about playing hardball? Can he be thinking that the Left has nowhere else to go? I doubt it.

Reading between the lines, we can see his strategy developing. Joe Biden has announced “his” plan to continue the fight with a smaller, not larger, number of troops. Apparently, this is to be accomplished by abandoning the goal of Nation Building and relying on surgical strikes and the use of unmanned drones. This leaves Obama the option of standing off to the side and simply agreeing with the assessment of his more experienced Vice President. By the way, if anyone really thinks that Biden came up with this plan on his own, I have some shares of a bridge in New York I’d like to sell you.

Having said that, with the guaranteed assistance of the media, it is a subterfuge that might just slip by the war weary American people. But then we come up against the 2,000 pound gorilla lurking in the closet. Does General McCrystal want to be remembered as the Officer who presided over the loss of Afghanistan to a rag-tag force of religious irregulars? Military men share this strange belief: they want to win wars, not lose them.

I believe that General McCrystal would resign from the service rather than be in this position. And it could even get worse, much worse. Suppose General Petraeus were also to resign, rather than be associated with an impending debacle?

What little credibility Obama has left would go up in smoke. Even his fawning admirers in the media couldn’t suppress that news. It would hit the front pages like a bombshell, and rapidly deteriorate into a public relations nightmare. I would love to hear Robert Gibbs try to spin this one!

To the Obamunists, this has little to do with winning or losing a war, and less to do with the future of the Afghan people. It is all about domestic politics, and “Chicago Style” politics at that.

I never thought I would say this, but we are coming to a point where I could actually feel sorry for this guy. These folks are truly clueless!

Maybe he should make another Prime Time speech. That seems to be his solution for everything.

It is really a shame that viewers have been lied to on Fox News, the one place we have left to get the truth.

O’Reilly, as always, in the tank for Obama, has been making the statement that the size of the crowd in Washington, DC for the Tea Party event on 9/12 was 75,000. He claims repeatedly that the crowd size estimate came from the DC Fire Department “whose job it is to know how many people are in town in case of an emergency”.

That statement, and the crowd size estimate, are both false.

I had previously read that DC officials to not estimate crowd sizes as a matter of policy, in order to avoid becoming involved in the the politics of these events.

I wrote to the Mayor’s office to ask if O’Reilly’s estimate was correct. Their response is below. His statement, presented by him as fact, is so totally wrong that I have trouble believing it was a simple accident.

I think it is time for Bill O’Reilly to step aside for Glenn Beck, who is standing up for America!! Perhaps O’Reilly can find a new home at MSNBC, which is where he belongs.

Apparently, Obama is not the only one who lies! I have been looking for estimates of the size of the crowd that descended on Washington yesterday, but all I have found are reports that the protestors numbered in the “Tens of Thousands”. (NY Times, Washington Post). No where are we told how many tens of thousands. Instead, we are told that officials in DC do not make crowd estimates, as the NYPD routinely does!

In fact, many members of the media did not report the story at all. Instead, they reported exclusively on Obama’s speech in Minneapolis, loudly proclaiming it was attended by 15,000 ardent supporters. We are, of course, not told how many were sent there by ACORN or the SEIU!

Even www.glennbeck.com fell for the “tens of Thousands” line. Perhaps Glenn needs to have a little chat with his writers!

Thanks to Matt Drudge, we are not limited to news generated by the American Media. When we look across The Pond, we find the London Daily Mail reporting that “Up to two million” took part in the protest. That is quite a few “tens of thousands”, although I suspect the truth is somewhere in between. Unfortunately, I have no way to know for sure, since the American media won’t Tell me. What a National disgrace!

We keep hearing the supporters of Obamacare (the Obamunists?) tell us about how they are going to “save” 500 billion dollars by reductions to Medicare spending.

Here are the exact words (no kidding) of Democratic Representative Betsy Markey of Colorado:

“Some people, including Medicare recipients, will have to give up some current benefits to truly reform the nation’s health-care system”, Rep. Betsy Markey told a gathering of constituents in Fort Collins on Wednesday.

Markey has repeatedly said during the August congressional recess that Medicare spending needs to be reined in to help pay for reforming the broader health-care system.

“There’s going to be some people who are going to have to give up some things, honestly, for all of this to work,” Markey said at a ‘Congress on Your Corner’ event at CSU. “But we have to do this because we’re Americans.”

Well, ummm, not so fast Betsy Baby. Medicare funds are not income tax dollars that the Government can use as it sees fit. Medicare dollars are money that American citizens have paid in during most, or even all, of their working lives. There is no “Government” money involved.

It is becoming truly frightening the rate at which the Far Left is taking control of this Country and simply ignoring any laws that don’t support their agenda.

Granted, Government bureaucrats can, and in fact do right now, specify how much Medicare will reimburse a doctor for various procedures. Far from Betsy’s fantasies, perhaps the best solution for America’s senior citizens would be to privatize Medicare and get the Government out of the picture all together. Apparently, ever since Obama came to power, this reduction of Medicare reimbursements has been going on in secret.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield seem to work quite well in providing health care. Perhaps we need a similar organization to take over the administration of Medicare. As long as politicians think they can vote themselves chunks of this pot of money they see in front of them, the health needs of senior citizens will always be endangered.

It is a truly sad story, but I simply no longer trust the Government, or, at least, this administration, to care for the needs of senior citizens. All seniors are asking for is that they get the benefits they paid for when they were working. That, Congresswomen Markey, is what you have to do “Because we are Americans”, to use your own terms.

How did this woman get elected? How does she stay in office?

That is perhaps the greatest tragedy of all, and Americans have no one but themselves to blame. It is truly the “Joe Sixpack” mentality that is eroding the American Dream. How many people have you heard say: “Oh, I have no interest in politics!” Well, do you have an interest in being able to have access to medical care without government interference?

Maybe that is too complicated? OK, let’s try this: Joe, do you have any interest in eating? Pretty soon, you won’t be doing that either, because if we allow them to “Redistribute” Medicare funds, Social Security funds won’t be far behind.

As Glenn Beck would say: “Wake up America”!!!

President Obama has appointed former President Bill Clinton to the newly created post of “Virginity Czar of the United States of America.” In announcing the appointment, President Obama said: “There are millions of women in this Country who are sick and tired of virginity, but have had no way out other than committed and often complicated relationships. Now, finally, thanks to the kind of “Change” I promised, these women can rest easy knowing that their Government will stand behind them, or astride them, or whatever.”

“I chose former President Clinton for this strenuous job because of his often-demonstrated skills in this area”, Obama said. “I was particularly impressed by the Blow by Blow accounts of his flight home with the two very grateful young women he helped free from North Korea. The beaming smile on the former President’s face as he stepped off the plane told the story for the whole world to see.”

When asked for her opinion, Secretary of State Clinton commented: “Well, certainly no one can deny that the America women who join this Government program will be well served. Given his many years of experience at this type of “Government Service”, I’m sure Bill will “Raise the Bar”, so to speak!”

A spokesman for the Administration announced that, while the new department had a generous budget giving it the opportunity to set up a nationwide operation, former President Clinton has vowed to save the taxpayers many millions of dollars by meeting the servicing requests of American women personally! “I know it will be hard”, said Clinton, “but you can rest assured that I will rise to the occasion. Virgins of America, rejoice: Bill Clinton is riding to your rescue!”

However, Clinton did warn that a program of this magnitude would probably result in some rationing. Woman over 60, for example, would experience considerable delays while waiting for their servicing requests to be granted, while women in their 20’s or 30’s would receive priority “treatment”. Teen-agers, according to the former President, would receive immediate servicing!

In closing, President Obama made clear that this type of activity is nothing new for the Government, and that, in fact, it had been going on for generations. “When you stop to think about it”, Obama said, “This is exactly what the Government has been doing to taxpayers for a very long time. The only real change is that what was done “Figuratively” in the past, will now be done “Literally”!

Now that is really “Change you can believe in!!!”

Surprise, surprise!! The Obamunists are hinting strongly that they may need another Stimulus bill to get the economy moving. Ummm, isn’t that what they said about the first stimulus bill?

Remember it was needed immediately (meaning without even being read) in order to keep unemployment from going over 8.0%. Well, now that unemployment hovers around 9.5%, people are beginning to ask “why” or better yet “how”. Notice I say “People are beginning to ask”. Apparently the media has not yet recognized the problem.

And so BO and gang (because that’s what they are) have come up with a new solution: another stimulus package!

But, wait a minute, didn’t I just read that roughly 90% of the original stimulus money has not yet been spent? I’ll answer my own question: “YES, I did read that roughly 90% of the original stimulus money has not yet been spent!!!”

So how can this new request possibly make sense? The answer is it cannot, and the Obamunists know it. And so here, I believe is the scam. The request for Stimulus 2.0 will be put before Congress, where it will be defeated, because not even Democrats will be willing to commit political suicide by voting for such a thing. Republicans will be virtually 100% opposed.

So why bother? I believe it is because BO knows the bill has no chance, and, in fact, wants it to be defeated. At this point the Administration, as Joe Biden admits, knows that they got it wrong. The original bill was all about Pork and could have little or no impact on creating jobs. The chickens are coming home to roost, and so the Obamunists come up with a great CYA plan!

When the failure becomes even more evident, and when the unemployment carnage continues to spread, Obama will simply say: “I told you so” and blame the whole thing on the Republicans for leading the charge to refuse to pass another stimulus bill.

Cute, isn’t it? To bad the Dems can’t put this kind of ingenuity to use actually fixing, or at least improving, the economy.

Here is another question you might want to ask your “Representatives” in Congress. We were told that the major emphasis of the original Stimulus bill was to literally “pour” money into “Shovel Ready” projects that would provide an immediate boost to the economy and create millions of jobs. Well, aside from the fact that it didn’t, and couldn’t happen, how about this: the last unemployment report shows us that the hardest hit sector was manufacturing, followed by white collar and professional jobs. Construction jobs were much further down on the list. So what good will “Shovel Ready” jobs do for the largest categories of the unemployed? The answer is “NONE”. And that is without even addressing the obvious fact that the “Shovel Ready” jobs require union membership, and that leaves out anyone who is not already a member of the unions involved.

It seems pretty obvious that “Stimulus 1.0” and “Stimulus 2.0” are badly misnamed! They should rightly be called “Scam 1.0” and “Scam 2.0”

Here’s a suggestion for our Fearless Leader: “Hey B.O., how about renaming Stimulus 2.0 the ‘Michael Jackson Memorial Stimulus Plan’?” That is sure to get it passed without embarrassing questions being asked. You know, just like the first time!!!
