It is a given we will see the healthcare industry standards take a nose dive under Obama’s healthcare plan. The once highly esteemed and sought after profession of being a doctor will be brought down to the same level of the mindless zombie drones you see wandering the government complexes feeding off our tax dollars (sorry, but I know no better way to describe many of the government employees I see at government offices).

The best way to protect ourselves (besides fighting this plan by contacting our representatives) is to make and save as much money (legally obviously) as we can, as quick as we can, so we have the means to have other options for our families when the time arrises for medical care. Those with less financial stability (the poor and lower middle class) will be the most susceptible to the poor treatments under Obama’s healthcare plan, as they have no other options.

I already know what he spin will be: He meant that families ought to be better informed so they know when further treatment is futile. Straight out the liberal playbook of lies. ‘Cause it’s BS. About 5 years ago a good friend died of cancer. Last few months he was on so much painkiller; it was enough that you or I would be knocked out. At the end, he’s in the hospital bed, doctor says, only thing we can do now is steadily increase the morphine until he loses consciousness and passes. Doctors are already doing what the left will claim Dr. Utopia meant.

Back to abortion: Why the need for more information so families can kill their elderly and infirm but we can’t have mothers shown a sonogram before they kill their baby?

I have to get blood tests every month. I went to one place and it was horrible. I told my doctor I would blow my brains out if I had to go there every month. So she found a different place. Much better but the techs have gone down hill the last few years. Now I am lucky to leave without severe bruises or a lot of pain. It is really sad because most medical personel don’t give a crap. With Obama Care the crap scale will be broken.

If they pass this, they will have defeated the AMA, which is largely responsible for articulating the professional standards. If the government says somebody who’s work experience is with ACORN, has a GED, and has a six week, ACORN provided course is a healthcare provider, then they are a healthcare provider.

Looks like a good gig for Americorps or ACORN; gin out a bazillion little Obamacare providers. The universities are in the tank for the communists, so they’ll just adapt their curriculum to whatever the government wants.

My parents (74 and 72, one with 1/2 a lung taken by cancer and a pacemaker, the other with double knee replacements last January) are “taking care” of my grandparents (91 and 86, one with a hip replacement 15 years ago, and the other with double knee replacements 5 years ago), all 4 living on on my grandparents property (separate houses, though). However, “taking care” of my grandparents mainly consists of keeping them off the roof to fix shingles, not plowing all the back acres in one day, not planting a large 1 acre garden (nobody eats that much nowadays, and they have no more storage room for canned and preserved goods), and not driving 2 hours into the big town for an oil change at the dealer. They are all doing fine, but I bet my father wouldn’t have lived through the cancer and heart problems if health care was rationed, and my grandparents and mother would be crippled now…

and he had been in a nursing home for ten years due to a stroke. After he had been there for about four years, his heart had become weaker and he needed a pacemaker. From my reading of Obama’s words, it is questionable whether he would have received this pacemaker if we were under Obamacare then. Never mind that it allowed my mother and their children and families to enjoy the companionship of my dad for another six years. And never mind the fact that my father served this country admirably on a destroyer for three years in the Pacific theater during WWII.

How about people who watch the Jerry Springer show? There are lots of useless people we could phase out like short, white baskertball players and anyone with a law degree that got into law school on an affirmative action waiver.

I think we also could ethically withhold treatment from Philadelphia Eagles fans, UAW pensioners and all residents of San Francisco.

I even would go so far as to cut payments for Nancy Pelosi’d botox injections, that would save enough money to pay for Bill Clinton’s STD treatments.

Yep, the more I think about it, I should be in charge of the decision process.
