Our junior senator and former governess Jeanne Shaheen has decided that instead of facing her constituents, she is going to hold a “telephone town hall” meeting. So, instead of hearing from her constituents directly, we will be treated to planted softballs and the claim that she heard from the people. On the other (same) hand, Rep. Hodes will be holding “office hours” in Atkinson, NH town hall today from Noon until 2 PM to talk about health care. I guess that pretty much rules out anyone with a dreaded private sector job from attending.
