James Delingpole “Why I’m rooting for Barack Obama”

James Delingpole writes for the London Telegraph. Through a website I suscribe to I a came across his blog this morning.

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/jamesdelingpole/100137740/why-im-rooting-for-barack-obama/

This article is worth reading. It is a cry from across the Atlantic about the perils of electing Mitt Romney. Delingpole wrote, “Because I’ve seen what happens, America, when you elect yet another spineless, yet ruthless, principle-free blow-with-the-wind, big government, crony-capitalist RINO squish. His name is Dave Cameron–and trust me the cure is far worse than the disease.”

Delingpole calls for patience until 2016. Easy for him to say.

James Delingpole underestimates the danger posed by Barack Obama.

In politics national survival takes precedence over perfect solutions. And sometimes you may get a happy surprise from a RINO, as New Jersey has from Chris Christie.

What Delingpole doesn't realize

is that Romney will not make it out of the primary. This is truly a fight to save our country.

If You Fear The Tea Party More Than The Left

Barack Obama winning is a positive outcome. The question I have int he coming months, is what percentage of the GOP hierarchy would happier serving as Barack’s Loyal “Opposition” than they would be sharing serious political power with a Jacksonian, bottom-up, Populist Movement?

Mr. Obama is pretending that an economic “recovery” is underway when he knows damn well that the banking system is just blowing smoke up the shredded *** of what’s left of that economy – James Howard Kunstler

That is a very good question!!

Heh. 's a very important question, Jack.

Another angle on it would be “How many of the current GOP trough-nosers would be out of work under a Tea Party administration?”

My guess has been and remains that the gutless D.C. wing of the party first wanted Romney, and now are cheering (and funding) Santorum, knowing those two would least upset their trough.

Sorry state of affairs, it is.

Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise His name in the dance: let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp. Psalm 149:1-3

Delingpole has nothing good to say on Santorum either

Delingpole’s Jan 4 UK Telegraph column was entitled:

“Rick Santorum is a big government conservative. He’d be a disaster in the White House ”

I’m 90% in agreement with him on everything I’ve read of his, but he’s not omniscient and can shoot from the hip, especially with US domestic politics.

For instance, while Delingpole looks forward to a Rand Paul candidacy in this latest column, I suspect he’d jump ship on Paul based on his do-nothing under any circumstances foreign policy (largely cribbed from his Dad).
