Okay, after moaning and groaning yesterday, I got so much great feedback and references to read from the commenters that I’m ready to carry on. That’s one of the reasons I keep coming to RedState — I learn so much from others.

In fact, this one (courtesy of RedState member Wubbies) at Forbes hit the nail on the head and is a must read for those wanting more insight on the intra-party war taking place inside the Republican Party.

More than anything else, that’s what had me down yesterday. Since Rove declared war on us, it has become shockingly more clear the lengths the Establishment will go to to hold onto power and just how much they despise us. Mind-boggling.

Speaking of learning from others, for those of you who feel called to get involved in the battle to seize back our schools from the left, this is a must read posted at RedState by Melody Warbington yesterday. The links in her diary will catch you up to speed with the mess the feds are making using Common Core Standards (created by leftists) and what conservatives in Alabama are doing to stop it.

    Apropos of nothing: Prestigious London University Asks For Volunteers To Do Cocaine For Study

    A prestigious London university has asked for volunteers to take part in an experiment where they will be required to take cocaine.

    An email sent by a professor at King’s College London asks for ‘healthy male volunteers, 25 – 40 years of age, to take part in a clinical study involving nasal administration of cocaine.’

    The email, which was sent on Thursday afternoon to hundreds of postgraduate and undergraduate students at the university, is in seven sections, each titled with a question.

    Under the section, ‘What will happen?’, the email states: ‘After cocaine administration, repeated biological samples (blood, urine, hair, sweat, oral fluid) will be taken to compare and investigate how cocaine and its metabolites are spread through the human body.’

    The email specifies that potential participants must be: ‘Fit and well, have no past medical history and not be users of recreational drugs.

      I have this on some other posts. I find this to be absurd…in fact that word does not even describe this. BHO is running a dictatorship…no question about it and he gets away with it because of our cowardly representatives.

      The only voice out there is the NRA…and they should not be the sole spokespeople on this.

    Now…I thought this GREAT idea of Obama’s that nobody read, but passed was going to bring down costs and everything would be hunky dory. Well…it isn’t. Businesses cannot stay afloat because of the COST. Remember also that the government has taken away the pre-existing condition acceptance also.

    Why aren’t the Republicans parading out all those women with children that have birth defects? Obama did! In fact…I think they should do it with CJ Roberts watching the entire thing..don’t you. Maybe Obama will CRY out of the wrong corners of his eye (he has dry eye..google it).

    You should see the racket going on right now with prescription drugs…especially those that took Medicare Part D. Yep…some day I might get cancer and I better be safe than sorry…so I pay a premium. So does hubby…but you can buy some of your drugs (3 months supply) for less than it cost you for one month through your Med D provider. Who is pocketing the money? Oh…that’s right…there was some talk about Obama taking care of Big Pharma…but that was hushed up real quick.

    Well…any Indies who either voted for BHO or stayed home…you reap what you sow. Any Libertarians who were ticked off because their candidate did not get a chance in the debates…you reap what you sow. Can’t protect yourself…buy a shotgun and fire it into the air…while the intruder shoots you in the back (Joe’s solution).

    Take away guns from Vets….they…above all people are the ones that deserve our utmost respect…we are still allowed to post for the time being…they protect our freedoms.

      I’ve seen that video before and heard Thomas Woods speak. He makes really good arguments for state governments having a duty to protect their citizens from unconstitutional federal laws. Our country has become too passive in accepting that the Supreme Court is the only body capable of interpreting the Constitution.
