    The local television stations broadcast the funeral of Riverside Police Officer Michael Crain — one of the officers whose life was cut short by crazed ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner — in its entirety on Wednesday.

    It was stunning. There was more than 8,000 people in attendance, 4,000 of whom were uniformed police officers from around the state and some from out of state. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Governor Jerry Brown were also in attendance.

    Breaking: Police Engaged in Gun Battle With Christopher Dorner

    Nearly every station is covering the battle. It is not clear how the shoot-out began or how the police located Dorner, but reports are that the battle is taking place in a remote area of the San Bernardino Mountains called Angelus Oaks.
