Maddow embarrasses herself on national television; Lowry helps expose gaping Democrat weakness

Drudge has a link to newsbusters that’s got a clip up from Meet the Press. Contained in that video clip is perhaps the worst performance on live television by a frontbench liberal commentator I have seen. I can’t figure out how to post the clip perfectly, it looks a little skewed on my screen but here it is. (The awesome starts at 1:40)

Rachel Maddow begins by trying to pin Medicare cuts on Paul Ryan. Lowry then throws Obamacare induced Medicare cuts right back in her face and demands to know if she supports those cuts. Maddow tries to dodge by claiming she isn’t running for president (lol). Lowry does not let up and Rachel Maddow starts howling at him including a brief period of literally waving her hands directly in his face. She is trying desperately to get a point out instead of answering his question. Here is what was supposed to be her amazing counter point to the simple facts that Lowry pointed out:

Maddow: “Wait Wait!!! Wait! What I wanna know…what…can I say something? can I say something?…What I want to know is the logic…what I want to know is the logic of attacking someone for something you yourself are proposing to do?”

Let that sink in for a moment to realize what just happened. Obamacare cuts hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicare… ‘Obama for America’ goes crazy screaming about how Republicans want to kill Medicare. You’re right Rachel, THAT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE! Thanks for pointing that out! I am so glad to hear that your’e going to be supporting Mitt Romney on this. I knew you’d come around.

Her juvenile behavior was amazing to watch. Like a little kid screaming wait! wait! wait! including the jumping up and down with arms flailing, then once she finally gets her point out, its utterly self defeating.

We’re going to win this.

    I posted about this yesterday how the Democrats are going to get nailed with disemboweling $700+ billion from Medicare with Obamacare any time they want to bring up what is thought to be the conventional wisdom weak point of selecting Paul Ryan as VP.

      Lowry wins on logic. Maddow wouldn’t answer his question and tries to turn his question into her question.

      Everyone knows where Maddow and Lowry stand. And who cares?

        The existence of the $700B ObamaCuts will need to be repeated frequently for the average voter to notice.

        That’s what the Demhats are counting on when they run the Ryan-like figure throwing grandma over the cliff.

        …and here’s why:

        Up to now, Dems have been winning the framing battle where issues relative to the economy and budget are concerned. This is the only reason Obama is winning in ANY poll against Romney.

        When someone like Rich Lowry can embarrass the best the left has to offer on something as elementary as Medicare cuts included in a 2 year old law the Dems slobber over, it’s news…and it shows how important it is that we win the framing WAR before November.

        We need to explain why our ideas are superior to theirs. We need to expose the flaws in their blathering spin over their economic failures. We need to shake some sense into the American electorate that still believes in this idiot Obama.

        …and we need to do it NOW.

    I saw it and I’ve never seen Maddow speechless.

    Obama is the only one interested in cutting Medicare for CURRENT seniors, no matter how the ryan plan is spun.

      Absolutely and what we should hear over and over and over and over from R&R and every single surrogate on tv and radio is “Obama is the only one who IS cutting Medicare for current seniors….he has ROBBED the fund of 700 Billion to help finance his namesake, Obamacare.

      “Who’s the thief? Who’s the robber baron? Who’s stealing from the hard-working middle class seniors who all their lives put into that system? IT’s the PRESIDENT who has ROBBED today’s seniors, but he didn’t sell his “health care” program to you that way, did he? Did Mr. Reid? Did Ms. Pelosi? NO, NO, they told you you’d have to wait until it was passed to see the goodies….well, this is some goodie for seniors, isn’t it?????? 700 Billions stolen from them in the name of Obamacare, something they weren’t even allowed to see before it went to a vote.

      That’s NOT leadership!”

    from me. This clip is great. Have always admired Lowry, he knows how to debate…apparently maddow knows, ah can’t think of anything she might know except how to be biased.

      She does a good job of spinning the liberal talking points when its in soliloquy, and on her own show, but when she has to go up against anyone from the right in a showdown of wits, she shows unequivocally that she knows next to nothing about anything. That is why she hosts a show where her only guests are folks who completely agree with her. As a debater, her skills are nil.

    I do not think anyone would know who Maddow is except cons. keep repeating her tripe, but Lowry did lay a few on her and anything that trips up the left or stops their mantra is one for the right side.

    and don’t look her up. Ignorance truly is bliss. When she first became well known I thought she might be a reasonable person that I would just disagree with. I was wrong, she is a hack as evidenced clearly by the clip above.

    I try to do it once a week to see if my Progressive Tolerance Level is getting any better.
    The line is trending downward, as they just get Progressively Worse
    {snigger} and My System cannot catch up.
