Who is the Real Barack Obama?

What McCain must do/say Tomorrow

If Senator John McCain wants to win the white house he cannot continue to wait for the MSM to give him permission to question Barack Obama’s associations and patriotism. We don’t know for sure where Obama wants to take America because he refuses to share his plans with the rest of the country. The MSM for its part refuses to care and question. I suggest the following line of questioning for Barack Obama in tomorrows debate:

Senator Obama I want to be very clear when I say this. The American people aren’t rejecting because of the color of your skin. They are rejecting you because of the content of your character and the content of the charters you choose to align yourself with. I don’t know where you’re from because you refuse to show me your birth certificate but I can tell you that where I am from, the United States of America, we consider people like William Ayers, who bombed the pentagon, to be radical. We consider it against our beliefs and values to sit in the pew of a “Reverend” who would, for 20 years, spew anti-American and anti-Semetic rhetoric without the slightest desire to condemn his words. We consider would be Dictators who seek to bring Sharia Law to his people as patently criminal; I am speaking of Odinga who sought to be the President of Kenya. If I got wind of his plans to claim that the election was rigged in case he lost and start riots, which killed hundreds if not thousands, burned churches and brought overall unrest of his people I certainly wouldn’t use tax payer dollars, from my seat in the Senate, to actively campaign with him. Again, I don’t know where you come from but here in America that is simply another form of mass murder and terrorism. So Senator Obama, before you call me and my fellow Americans racist for questioning where you want to take this country consider your record…and your radical associations; consider your unwillingness to tell the American people who the real Barack Obama is and ask yourself: If I loved my country wouldn’t I be suspicious given the same set of circumstances.

If John McCain lays it all on the line and still Barack wins then the American people have only themselves to blame. As it stands now, Americans have no idea what they are getting themselves into and John McCain isn’t doing enough to let them know.

Domestic Debate Questions

What do you want Barack to have to answer

The economy is an important issue to be sure but this election also marks, potentially, a dramatic shift in what American values are. Barack Obama has a vastly different than what I believe most Americans think. Part of the problem is that no one has asked Barack about these things and as a result most people think that he shares the same values as everyone else. I don’t believe this is true (though I can be convinced otherwise). I have a few question that I would like Barack Obama to answer in front of 50+ million Americans. If you can think of more please post them.

  1. At one point should a child get Human Rights (This was a saddleback question but I don’t think most people are aware of the answer. Shame on the McCain campaign for not having a national ad about this).

  2. Is America still a Christian country in your estimation. If not why not and if so what should be done to ensure that the foundational values are kept.

  3. Do you believe that gun rights in America should be limited to protect its citizenry.

  4. Does illegal immigration play a role in lowering the wages of American workers

  5. In your ideal world, your ideal America would everyone be rich, poor or middle class (i.e. what is this “fairness” you speak of)

I have missed a few but if more come to mind I will certainly post them. Please post your Domestic Debate Questions on this forum. At the very least McCain campaign can raise the issues in passing (although it would be better if they came from an average American)

Raise Gov. Palin’s Profile

A strategy to win the election

To me it is clear that Americans love Gov. Sarah Palin or at the very least a majority of Americans are inclined to love her. I know polls are just polls but I think there is something to be learned by some of the polls that have come out recently. While people want to love her they are somewhat fearful of having her be a “heartbeat away” from the Presidency. I believe that many undecideds and a lot of women want to vote for her (ticket), want to believe she is ready but because of the job the MSM has done on her most Americans can’t imagine her leading the nation in a crisis. God, however, works in mysterious ways. America is currently in one of the largest crises in recent history and finds itself not knowing what the future holds. Americans are looking for a leader, someone to tell them what happened, why it happened, how to fix it and how to ensure it never happens again. They are hungry for someone to tell them the truth; that while there were predatory lenders they also must take some responsibility and consider for themselves individual steps to stop this from happening again. Conventional wisdom would suggest that one of the Presidential candidates or even the President himself would step into this role but to be quite honest leadership right now is lacking from all sides.
Now is the time, now is the moment that the McCain campaign should elevate Gov. Sarah Palin by having her give a major speech on this crisis. The speech needs to do only a few things.

Stocks Rally: Fear Mongering Media Brought Down a Level

The Sky is Flying High

As Usual cross posted @ Voices in the Wilderness

In a shocking turn of events the sky refused to defy physics today as the stock market rallied. The Mainstream Media (MSM) showed its frustration that not passing the bailout did not cause the complete breakdown of the system and those who voted against the bailout showed how unfazed and fearless they were by taking a vacation (which possibly included a few naps. Still unconfirmed)

Solomon, the wise king of Israel has said that there is a time for everything in this world, under the sun. There is a time to be happy and a time to be sad, a time to be rich and a time to be poor. A time to lead and a time to follow and he is absolutely right. If the government decides to bailout large corporations we will not overcome this principal of the world in which we live. We will only delay it.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Companies, all companies, large and small must be allowed to fail. The government simply cannot afford to buy the debt of once rich and wealthy companies who have failed to properly assess their risk. If you are smart enough to weasel your way (as a company) into a position that sees your richest as among the most important in the world then you should be smart enough to avoid bankruptcy (even while collecting government subsidies and grants).
