John Ziegler has recently taped a live interview with Gov. Palin in which she describes some of the scrutiny received during her run for the VP nomination. While the following excerpt is about 10 minutes long It provides some interesting comments on the treatment her and her family received since she was picked.
This is intended to be part of a documentary for the 2008 election process, which might be very interesting to watch.

NBC then proved Ziegler's point about MSM bias!
azaeroprof Friday, January 9th at 12:43PM EST (link)First, here’s a shorter link to the video.
This morning, my wife didn’t change the channel after the local news quick enough, and the Today show came on. In their teaser, they said that Sarah Palin “lashes out at Caroline Kennedy”.
First of all, Sarah was ASKED about Caroline Kennedy. The question in Ziegler’s video was: “Did media “class bias” cause a Sarah Palin/Caroline Kennedy double standard?”
Here is Sarah’s response:
“I’ve been interested also to see how Caroline Kennedy will be handled and if she’ll be handled with kid gloves or if she will be under such a microscope also. It’s gonna be interesting to see how that plays out. I think that as we watch that, we will perhaps be able to prove that there is a class issue her also that was such a factor in the scrutiny of my candidacy versus, say, the scrutiny of what her candidacy might be.”
I’m sure it’s no surprise to anyone here at RS that NBC would be biased and inaccurate. I guess starting a “catfight” would make for better ratings and good theater. Journalism is definitely dead, at least at NBC!
I’m sure it’s no skin off NBC’s nose, but I’ve stopped watching the only two network shows that I ever watched (My Name is Earl, The Office) because I cannot reward a network that exhibits such bias and inaccuracy, even if it’s the entertainment division. (And I used to work for GE, so I’m glad I sold my stock years ago!)

Ann Coulter is having some fun with the MSM also
woodsman Friday, January 9th at 1:11PM EST (link)Apparently her new book really takes the MSM to task for bias espoused in their reports and viewpoints.
I don’t think there is anything more fun than watching Ann go after someone who lands in her crosshair’s. She is a fighter as I think Gov. Palin is.
woodsman, your HTML is broken
E Pluribus Unum Friday, January 9th at 12:48PM EST (link)Actually, probably not, but I wanted to get your attention. Take your text, as is, and cut-paste it from the “visual editor” mode to the other one (cant’ think of the name, and I don’t have mine open at the moment).
Also, if you hit ’save’ on your post instead of ‘publish’, a button shows up that lets you preview.

woodsman Friday, January 9th at 12:59PM EST (link)This new system takes some getting used to and I unfortunately have not had sufficient time to learn what to do, when I do it. Let me try to fix this, if not…I might have some questions for you.
Done.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

woodsman Friday, January 9th at 1:25PM EST (link)I certainly hope someone from the RNC is paying attention to some of this so that they can get a game plan together for 2010 & 2012. Whatever they have been doing is not working.
I think we will need
drohan00 Friday, January 9th at 1:43PM EST (link)a new leadership in the congress. I was no coincidence that DeLay, Armey, and Gingrich were there in 1993 and we won in 1994.
Some think Cantor will be that person, but I have yet to witness any evidence.
We have to get some fight back in us. The Democrats won’t help us, we have to help ourselves.
