are working frantically behind the scenes to rewrite the contract for the stadium naming rights.

I believe contractually the media is required to refer to the stadium as Bank of America Stadium..

I am sure a little mutual back scratching will ensue and a representative amount of NC Panthers (football not New Black) will come on stage to justify the last minute name change.

why did they not simply pay for temporary naming rights?

Let’s see,… what monikers could have been used?

* Pelosi’s Palace?
* Reid’s Ring?

* Progressive’s Paradise?
(I give This One 5 Stars ,but I’m a trifle biased}

* Deborah’s Dark Dungeon of Demonic Horrors?
(Mysterious,AND Spooky… but probably to many letters to fit)

and finally : “Kremlin In The Carolinas”
