When [mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ] called Net Neutrality the Obamacare of the Internet, the left squawked, but it’s true. Net Neutrality, including via the Title II Reclassification power grab, is all promises, but will predictably have bad results for all of us.

Its so bad even the Reverend Jesse Jackson dislikes it because it will hurt poor minorities.

It’s all about investment. If we want better Internet in this country – which we always do, even though our Internet’s better than Europe’s – then we want continued building of infrastructure. It doesn’t grow on trees, and someone has to pay for it. Do we trust the government that couldn’t even build a scalable website at healthcare.gov, to scale the Internet in this country? Come on.

So it’s bad news that Title II would hinder investment. That’s an economic fact. On top of the fact that existing regulations are already hindering investment, Title II Net Neutrality would be a disaster in slow motion as, over time, we’d fall further and further behind where we could have been.

Sirius continues to get smacked down as it tries to freeload on the works of others, just because they’re pre-1972 recordings.

You can tell [mc_name name=’Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’R000146′ ] is on the way out. A STELA extension passed.

Ajit Pai is standing up to the extremists on the matter of the Redskins. Hail to the Man, Ajit Pai.

You can tell the Big Box retailers overreached on the sales tax bill when Ted Cruz and John Boehner are firmly on the same side. All the Congress had to do was ratify an interstate compact and we could have had interstate sales tax in many states, but they overreached and tried to rope in states that didn’t want to opt in to anything.

The whole surveillance issue is vastly overblown, but I don’t think government should be able to burden the private sector over it.
