Three years into this presidency, and Obama wants us to celebrate because unemployment dropped 1/10th of a percent. As has been pointed out here and elsewhere, the numbers are nothing to write home about and are more reflective of people getting out of the workforce than any kind of improvement in job conditions.

With all the talk of “pivoting back to jobs,” the feeling of deja vu is overwhelming.
