77-year-old Joe Biden has a message where transgender issues are concerned: No compromise.
Negotiation? Negative, muchacho.
Nope, nope, and also: nope.
But Joe ain’t just now woking up — he previously explained that his top legislative priority will be to pass the Equality Act, which’ll let guys compete in girls’ sports divisions.
To Joe, the whole thing “is long overdue, and will ensure LGBTQ Americans are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.”
And he’s not alone on the Democratic dais.
Elizabeth Warren’s psyched, too — she’s said she’ll “fight tooth and nail” to make it happen.
And to Mayor Pete, putting dudes in there would be “a historic moment for equal rights in America.”
He’s right — it’s more equal to let both guys and girls do the same thing together.
Equality does have its price, though: A whole lot, the girls will get pummeled by the guys.
Back to the issue in general, on Saturday, Joe told compromise to take a hike in the name of civil rights:
“Let’s be clear: Transgender equality is the civil rights issue of our time. There is no room for compromise when it comes to basic human rights.”

In June, the AP quoted Joe on passing the bill:
“It will be the first thing I ask to be done.”
Democratic #2 Bernie’s all about it, too.
His webpage — https://berniesanders.com/en/issues/lgbtq-equality/ — lists 3 key points:
- Pass the Equality Act, the Every Child Deserves a Family Act and other bills to prohibit discrimination against LGBTQ+ people.
- Ensure LGBTQ+ people have comprehensive health insurance without discrimination from providers.
- Advance policies to ensure students can attend school without fear of bullying, and work to substantially reduce suicides.
As for sports, the revolution’s coming. Or it’s already here.
From The Daily Caller:
Franklin Pierce University runner CeCe Telfer, a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman, won an NCAA DII national championship in women’s track and field in May 2019. Telfer previously competed on the university’s men’s team.
A biologically male runner at the University of Montana was named the Big Sky Conference’s cross-country female athlete of the week in October 2019.
Also in October, biologically male cyclist Rachel McKinnon won a women’s world championship and set a world record at the 2019 Masters Track Cycling World Championships in Manchester, England.
A blue wave is hoping for more.
Equality, you’re poised to get your day in the sun. In basketball, football, cycling, track, boxing, and weightlifting.
But stop the (bench) presses: If 2020 sees a President Joe Rogan, lookout, Jack (EXTREME language warning):
