When we hear about the national anthem, it’s usually because somebody is being disrespectful, right? Somebody is kneeling, or Beto is inviting kneelers to the Democratic debate. So, I wouldn’t blame you for having missed these recent national anthem stories that were good news. Miss them no more…here they are.

Wisconsin trumpet player Jim Doepke has played the national anthem in 28 different major league baseball parks- and he’s on a quest to make that an even 30.

“It’s a great way to give back and honor everyone who’s given us our freedom,” Doepke told a local CBS affiliate in Wisconsin after playing for his home team.

3. Baseball player gives kids a lesson in national anthem etiquette

Errol Robinson, a player for the Tulsa Drillers (a farm team for the Dodgers), gave a couple of kids a lesson on respecting the national anthem.
