David Hogg Calls U.S. Troops Imperialists, Army Vet Schools Him and Triggers MSNBC Analyst

What is it with liberals and trashing military members just trying to do their jobs?

Ilhan Omar was exposed over the weekend for calling troops in Somalia “satan” and now here’s MSNBC’s favorite gun control advocate accusing them of being imperialists in Africa.

I don’t know what it looks like but it’s certainly not what David Hogg thinks it looks like. I can assure you that our troops in Burkina Faso or Niger are not there to enjoy the weather and vast spoils. They are there to help with counter-terrorism training and operations. I’m sure they’d all rather be home rather than in some of the poorest parts of the world.

Hogg’s ridiculous tweet led to Sean Parnell, an Army veteran, to critique his comments in less than glowing terms.

While Hogg is getting into Harvard with sub-par SAT scores because of his political activism, much better men and women have fought for his freedom all over the world. He thanks them by accusing them of imperialism.

Of course, this led some in the media to get really upset with Parnell for responding to Hogg’s offensive garbage.

Yes, I’m sure the combat veteran who risked his life for years so you could enjoy your avocado toast has really low self-esteem.

This clown nose on, clown nose off routine with Hogg has gone well past it’s expiration date. He is no longer just a “college freshman.” He’s chosen to thrust himself into the political arena with a clear plan to elevate his own profile. If he’s going to throw punches, especially idiotically graceless ones like the above, he better be ready to absorb some hits back. He and his friends at MSNBC don’t get to suddenly pull the “he’s just a kid” card after that. Not how it works.

Hogg has a long history of saying really stupid things. While it started with his nonsensical gun control advocacy, it has spilled over into him opining on all manner of political issues. At this point he’s an adult and should be expected to be treated as such. While he’s at Harvard, perhaps he’ll learn what the actual definition of imperialism is and why it’s so awful to accuse good military men and women of such.

I’m just kidding. This is Harvard we are talking about.

Funny how the standards shift so much, eh? Let 16 year olds vote! You can’t criticize 19 year olds for their political views! Makes sense.
