WATCH: Elizabeth Warren Doesn't Seem to Know How Many Branches of Government There Are

As far as I can tell, Warren’s political career can be described as one embarrassing moment leading to another.

As captured by the Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra, Warren was recently interviewed by Anderson Cooper on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” when she was asked about the ongoing government shutdown.

“Do you ever think, look, the realistic end game is that Republicans get two-thirds of what they want and the Democrats have to settle for the shorter straw?” Cooper asked. “Is that how the balance of power really works?”

“Well, let’s talk about the balance of power,” Warren responded. “There are two coequal branches of government, the president of the United States and the Congress.”

I guess the Supreme Court is chopped liver. Perhaps this is part of the Democrats strategy of delegitimizing the Supreme Court with it being slanted more to the right than not, but it regardless of whether or not this is just a sly attempt at a narrative, it’s still wrong.

Warren is currently a Democratic hopeful for a shot at the White House in 2020, but her seeming lack of basic knowledge about the government she’s trying to run is only one more reason for Democrats to keep her back from the general election stage.

Warren’s chances were already destroyed when she took the fated DNA test that would prove her years-long claim that she was of Native American ancestry to be a complete fabrication. What’s more, she took the test because Trump literally trolled her into it, proving her to be a weak-minded person capable of being goaded into doing things out of anger and frustration.

Then there was the embarrassing attempt at being one of the cool kids by doing her own Ocasio-Cortez style Facebook Live, which ended up only making her look horrifically unrelatable. Even Texas Republican Dan Crenshaw helped her by advising her not to do that again.

And now we have a failure to recognize the three branches of government.

Things just continue to look worse for Warren.
