Ilhan Omar To Be Keynote Speaker at Fundraiser for Terrorist Linked Organization

Screeshot: Twitter

You’d think, given recent events, that Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar would do her level best to make sure that her image as an anti-semite would begin to fade away after numerous fiascos put her in that column, but it looks like Omar has no intention of hiding her true feelings.

According to the Daily Caller, Omar is scheduled to help with a fundraising event in March for Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). For those of you unfamiliar, CAIR is an Islamic organization that is often linked to radical terrorist groups such as the anti-Israel Hamas.

According to the Daily Caller, Omar isn’t just attending, she’s going to be the keynote speaker, and will be standing alongside known terrorist sympathizers:

Omar will be the keynote speaker at CAIR’s 4th Annual Valley Banquet on March 23 to discuss advancing justice and empowering Muslims, according to the organization’s invitation. Single tickets start at $55 per person and a table can cost upwards of $500.

Hassan Shibly, the chief executive director for CAIR-Florida, will also be speaking at the event. Shibly has emphatically stated that Hezbollah and Hamas are not terrorist organizations, reported Jordan Schachtel at Conservative Review.

Hussam Ayloush, the chief executive director for CAIR-LA, who is hosting the event, compared the state of Israel to the Islamic State during a speech in April. Shibley has repeatedly echoed those sentiments and spread propaganda describing U.S. armed forces as radical terrorists.

As the Daily Caller also highlighted, the Department of Justice has listed CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in funding millions of dollars to the terrorist organization Hamas. On top of that, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) labeled CAIR a terrorist organization in 2014 with the likes of ISIS.

This is the group that Omar has thrown her support behind, and while that might be shocking, it sure shouldn’t be surprising. Omar has stated in the recent past that Israel shouldn’t get to exist as a Jewish state and runs away when questioned about her support of the anti-Israel BDS movement.

And then there was this…

Omar clearly has a hatred of Jewish people and a soft spot for known terrorist groups. How long will she last?
