The Washington Examiner reports that the Obama administration continued to thumb its nose at the other two branches of the federal government when Obama’s Department of justice failed to obey a federal court’s order to turn over all subpoenaed documents to Congress about the Obama Administration’s Fast and Furious gun-running scandal.

During the Obama administration’s foolish gun-running federal agents lost track of  more than 2,00o guns, two of which were found at the scene of the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian A. Terry. Then Attorney General Eric Holder’s refusal to give Congress subpoenaed documents related to the gun-running scandal resulted in his becoming the first sitting attorney general held in contempt of Congress in U.S. history. It looks like Attorney General Loretta Lynch wants to be the second.

The Obama/Lynch Department of Justice’s refusal to give up all the documents today, prompting immediate complaints from Congress:

“Today, under court order, DOJ turned over some of the subpoenaed documents,” House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz said in a statement late Friday. “The committee, however, is entitled to the full range of documents for which it brought this lawsuit. Accordingly, we have appealed the District Court’s ruling in order to secure those additional documents.”

“As we’ve long asserted, the committee requires and is entitled to these documents. They are critical to the committee’s efforts to complete meaningful oversight. The committee has a duty to understand and shine light on what was happening inside DOJ during the time of this irresponsible operation,” Chaffetz said.

The Obama/Lynch Justice Department’s continued failure to come clean on the Fast and Furious documents hints at how far it will be willing to go to protect Hillary Clinton from the FBI’s investigation into her email fiasco.
