Water Cooler Politics w/Chris Arps Podcast: Interview With Dr. Shelby Steele

Last Friday, I had the opportunity to have a far ranging discussion with best selling author, columnist and a documentary filmmaker Dr. Shelby Steele.

This is episode two of my podcast, and in part one of this interview with Dr. Steele, we discussed his transition to conservatism, advice he would give President Trump on race and the current state of the civil rights movement.

We later went on to discuss “citizen unity vs black unity,” the future of Black Lives Matter, his views on Marxism and its appeal to younger African Americans and did he see the rise of Al Sharpton back in the early 90’s while filming his Emmy award winning documentary, “Seven Days in Bensonhurst.
