Does anyone remember that the entire Obama critique of Hillary Clinton was based on foreign policy. Obama argued that Hillary voted for the war in Iraq, and therefore couldn’t be trusted with U.S. foreign policy.
She had “flawed judgment” on Iraq and Iran.
In fact, the problem was greater than just “flawed” judgment on Iraq. Hillary was “reckless” on Iran.
And, Hillary being “ready on day one” was less important than Obama having been “right on day one” about the war.
If Obama now turns U.S. foreign policy over to Hillary Clinton (and keeps Bush’s secretary of defense!), what does that say about Obama’s core beliefs?
In the words of Bill Clinton, discussing Obama’s foreign policy last winter: “Give me a break. This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I’ve ever seen.”
