It was a dull Tuesday Morning for the incompetent hacks who blog at They didn’t have a whole lot of insight on much of anything. Thus, they found a picture of one Lonewacko™ who carried a firearm with to a recent town hall meeting. This individual resembled an ACLU plant even more by carrying a sign reading “It Is Time to Water the Tree of Liberty!” Thus we have the jumping off point for yet another despicable slur against anyone un-American enough to oppose Barack Obama’s version of paternalistic health care socialism.

So Joe Weisenthal did everything in within his limited, sloganeering intellectual capability to make it official. Anyone not agreeing with Obamacare had to be a whack-job. There is no other acceptable groupthink. Weisenthal’s mediocre drivel follows below.

Now the pendulum has swung the other way, because it’s official: the healthcare protesters look like deranged nutjobs, whose main interest is in shouting down people who disagree with them.

My immediate reaction was to dwell on what was obviously wrong here. Under another of my many aliases, “EvilBuzzard,” I asked him the question that 40-some previous commentators hadn’t yet accurately posed.

So if sending SEIU Blue Shirts to a St. Louis town hall meeting and beating the black people, like Orville Faubus on Nazi Crank, didn’t kill healthcare reform, why does one idiot carrying to a meeting save it?

Are we to assume that liberals typically ‘debate’ people by sending union thugs to kick their @$$e$ and that you just can’t expect more respectful or mature behavior out of Lefty?

The morning is young, but Weisenthal has yet to respond. If I were attending one of these SEIU opposition-stomping rallies, I’d feel inclined to protect myself as well. When the President is ordering his minions to “hit back twice as hard,” this doesn’t foster a particularly safe or conducive intellectual environment.

So then, once I had dwelled on what was obviously wrong with the article, I was left to ponder what was left. This included, primarily, the rest of the stuff that was wrong with the article. This exercise enables me to answer at least part of what ‘EvilBuzzard” wondered aloud.

By the skillful use of social opprobrium, liberal opponents of 2nd Amendment Rights have stigmatized what the Constitution and The Bill of Rights prevent them from legally banning. This approach has yielded palpable results, which we’ve seen in conversation and all over blogs across the land. Yes, we still have the right to keep and bear arms. No, the cool kids don’t want to play with you if you exercise that right. Weisenthal tries so pathetically hard to be cool.

Firearm ownership has unfairly become a proxy by which the prevailingly trendy judge the sophistication, intellect, social class and sanity of the gun owner. If a person meets a stranger and learns nothing else about him except that he owns two AK’s and a 30.06, the mental judgments immediately get formed. With no other information in hand, the average American from a city or a wealthy suburb is likely to classify the gun owner as a raving Wingnut. DHS has to keep a close watch on the sort of person who walks around quoting Thomas Jefferson in unguarded moments.

Thomas Jefferson had many other interesting things to say as well. Some of which our Congressional leadership needs to be reminded of at a future town hall. His advice on deficit spending would be well-heeded by Congressional Pork-Mongers of both of our major parties. Our famous Dead White Virginian Male offers the following insight on $1Tr healthcare debacles.

It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.

He also seems to know well why the SEIU goons are showing up to beat the protestors, and why “fishy” behavior is being reported to [email protected]

Force is the vital principle and immediate parent of despotism.

He also understands well why the Democrats and their cheap hangers-on like Joe Weisenthal, try so desperately hard to ridicule the protestors at town hall meetings. The juvenile cracks about “Tea-bagging” are substitutes for something else.

Resort is had to ridicule only when reason is against us.

As hard as the current ruling clique tries to tell the people to shut up and go away, this current despotism cannot survive long athwart reason and decency. One way or another, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will post the ultimate in Epic Fails. This can happen in one of two ways.

The Democrats can lose big in the next election; and then either moderate their policies or lose their majorities. Or, reality can take over the way it does after Wile E. Coyote; Supra-Genius, runs out of cliff and tries to walk on the whispering winds.

The coming downfall is one that Thomas Jefferson would no doubt accurately attribute, to long accumulated American hubris. If we want to have a parachute; vote either completely or overwhelmingly Republican in 2010. The Republicans have problems, but they are better leadership material than Nancy Pelosi if they can eat without a feeding tube.

The hip, liberal wall-street wizards didn’t see the 2007 collapse coming either. The Joe Weisenthals don’t have a clue what is about to hit them.
