*I am so proud of America. Last night with Sarah Palin’s speech she really drove this point home with her references to our troops fighting in Iraq, our innovation as far as developing new sources of energy to decrease our foreign dependence on oil, the values of our small towns and U.S. citizens, and the ability of government to serve the people instead of catering to the media pundits that try to create controversy.

Also, as if that were not enough, she painted a character portrait of John McCain as a true American hero that has suffered and sacrificed for our country and paid the price of the cost of freedom that is so casually overlooked today.

An American woman who is steadfast in her values of family, country and we the people vs. big government, big spending and high taxes.

It is refreshing to learn that politics is not a popularity contest but rather a debate of hard issues that will take fortitude, courage and strength to overcome. We are at a pivotalcrossroads in history and the outcome of this election will determine the direction of our country for the next decade and beyond. With so much at stake, Sarah Palin stepped up to the plate fearlessly and spelled it out to the American public in layman’s terms with no vague references to special interests or partisanship.

It is all about this country and who will lead it. Highlighting the differences in character, philosophy and core beliefs stands at the base of who is most qualified to become our next president which is after all what the speech was about. To thank her supporters for her nomination in this history making event and point out clearly the best contender in this election with out the media made fog of the facts that distort the vision of this country.

It is important to note that Sarah Palin also is educated with a degree in Journalism and Communications so she understands the parameters and the fairness of what should be reported. With that in mind, she was able to accurately pinpoint where our focus should be and pave the way for John McCain to lay out his plan for our country which will surely take us on the high road to solving the ills that we face. I cannot think of any other politician or public figure that could bring this message home to Americans in their living rooms and be the mirror of the principles held so dearly by John McCain. In this new dawn of history Americans will tolerate nothing less than fearless leadership.
