I just saw Donald Trump on Fox News and he said, “My economic plan will be very simple, jobs, jobs, jobs.” I have seen Mr. Trump claim he will create 25 million new jobs over the next ten years.

Mr. Trump seems to be completely oblivious to the fact U.S. Census Bureau data indicates 98% of all firms in the United States have less than 100 employees and those firms are responsible for over 90% of the net new jobs. A study by the Small Business Administration (SBA) found over 90% of all firms in the United States have less than 20 employees and are responsible for over 97% of all net new jobs.

99% of all firms in the United States have less than 500 employees and these firms are responsible for over 50% of the Gross Domestic Product, over 50% of the private sector work force and over 90% of all U.S exporters.

Go to Trump’s website and try and find any economic plan that will focus on the 98% of all U.S. firms that have less than 100 employees. You can’t because he doesn’t have one. Big mistake.

It will be totally and completely impossible for Trump to create more “jobs jobs jobs” unless he can come up with an economic plan that is specifically focused on the small businesses that create the overwhelming majority of new “jobs, jobs jobs”.

At What Point Do People Revolt?

The single largest economic stimulus program ever passed by Congress to create jobs and boost the middle class economy is the Small Business Act. That law mandates a minimum of 23% of all federal contracts be awarded to small businesses. Within that goal federal law mandates 5% go to woman-owned small businesses, 5% to minority-owned small businesses and 3% to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

A long series of federal investigations and investigative reports in the media have all found rampant fraud and abuse in all federal small business contracting programs. Billions a year in federal small business contracts are going to giant corporations. It’s been all over the media for years. The story has been in every newspaper in the country. It’s been on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and RTTV.

The simplest, most efficient, economical and effective way for Donald Trump to create “jobs, jobs, jobs’ is to pledge to end the blatant corruption and fraud in all federal small business contracting programs.

As I said in my blog last week, Trump should expose the fact the Obama Administration has cheated small businesses out of hundreds of billions in federal contracts and subcontracts. He should promise small businesses, including those owned by women, minorities and veterans that he will clean up these abuses. This would create “jobs, jobs, jobs” and significantly boost his support with women, minorities (which he desperately needs) and veterans. Sounds like a win, win, win plan to me. Did I mention the fact that with this economic “jobs, jobs, jobs” plan there is no need for new programs, no new laws, no new taxes, no new spending? What’s not to love?

I will let you in on a little secret, I know Trump will never ever mention the Obama Administration’s vicious anti-small business track record. Trump cannot mention any of the federal investigations during the Obama Administration that found Obama was diverting billions of dollars in federal small business contracts to Fortune 500 firms. Trump can’t mention the Government Accountability Office investigation that found rampant fraud in the SBA’s management of the SDVOSM program.

Can you guess why Mr. Trump won’t pledge to end fraud in federal small business programs? Here’s the truth, Trump’s major supporters in the Pentagon are vehemently anti-small business. The Pentagon and its prime contractors have been trying to close the Small Business Administration and end all federal small business programs for over 30 years. Their motivation is greed. Those greedy contractors in the defense industry want every penny the government spends to go into their pockets. The only way to accomplish that is to end the federal program that mandates small business receive 23% of all federal contracts.

In the last debate Hillary Clinton acknowledged, “Most of the new jobs will come from small business.” Trump had no response. She has said she wants to be the “small business President.”

Trump’s loyalty to the greedy anti-small business contractors in the defense industry will prevent him from talking about the fact small businesses create all the net new jobs and pledging to end the fraud in federal small business programs. It will also prevent him from any realistic plan that will actually create “jobs, jobs, jobs.’

Remember the Census Bureau data that 99% of all U.S firms have less than 500 employees? Trump is essentially condoning blatant fraud in federal small business programs and supporting the defense industries economic agenda that wants to put over 95% of all federal spending into the hands of less than 1% of firms in the U.S. That plan will kill thousands of “jobs, jobs, jobs” and continue to devastate the middle class economy.

Trump obviously plans to perpetuate the Obama anti-small business agenda. This is why Trump will lose this election.
