Part I. Zodiac Abraham

NOTE: The Hebrew Tradition Series is an ongoing set of articles and essays featuring the various supernatural and unexplainable aspects of the three great Hebrew religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This article, called Part I. Zodiac Abraham, is just the first of many future installments of the Hebrew Tradition Series.

The origins of the Zodiac, along with other well-known astrological signs found among the stars, have remained shrouded in mystery throughout the centuries. This has resulted in several various theories being proposed that have inevitably lead to quite a lot of disagreement among modern scholars. Nevertheless, anyone with even a shred of rationality and common sense can see, quite clearly, that the traditional constellations of the West as presently construed are nothing but complete and utter nonsense- demonic gibberish and nothing more. Connecting the dots of literally any of the 12 signs of the Zodiac shows that they do not form the outline of a fish (Pisces), a crab (Cancer), a ram (Ares), an archer (Sagittarius), or a virgin (Virgo) at all. Any child who has ever played with connect-the-dot picture books would immediately question the thinking and logic behind literally all the signs of the Zodiac.

There can be but little liberty on Earth while men
worship…tyrant(s) in Heaven.

– Robert Green Ingersoll

In the past, many children, along with countless adults, have also politely questioned the so-called patterns of stars that the ancients could supposedly see clearly. Throughout the centuries, those who have objected to the Zodiac were usually told by the ‘experts‘ that they were impossibly ignorant and lacked the imagination necessary to see them. Put bluntly, the whole situation is quite similar to the ‘philistines’ who enrage upper -class New Yorkers by carefully studying a typical piece of expensive modern art only to conclude that it resembles the finger-paintings and other assorted scribbles that most first-grade art students could produce on a single day of fun. Reasonably speaking, it seems more than likely that these constellations are, in fact, independent parts of a far more sophisticated, multi-layered system that have tragically been lost, or perhaps even covered up by the Roman Catholic Church, for thousands of years. A summary analyzing the present junkyard chaos of today’s Zodiac can be seen as follows:

Today’s Random Zodiac
Human: 4 signs, Twins, Archer, Virgin, Water-Boy
Mammal: 3 signs, Ram, Bull, Lion
Ocean LIfe: 2 signs, Fish, Crab
Mythical Creature: 1 sign, half-fish/half-goat monster
Insect: 1 sign, Scorpion
Object: 1 sign, Scales or Balance

By any reasonable standard, the current Zodiac should be considered nothing more than a mostly random group of star signs haphazardly taken, or even stolen, from a far more understandable and orderly set of original myths and legends. With that in mind, how have these fairly confusing, connect-the-star conglomerates ever lasted for so long? What was, or is, their secret? They have little to no basis in either the Jewish or Christian calendar, except as a nuisance, yet have still managed to remain a prominent, yet mostly unexplained, part of Western culture since the beginning of Christianity.

The zodiac we know today is a relatively recent refinement
that appeared around the 6th century BC and spent several
centuries struggling to gain common acceptance. It was once
believed to be purely Babylonian in origin since the majority of
constellation names can be traced far back in ancient Mesopotamian
history. Research, however, has proved a combination of cultural
influences with some signs…First of all, the word itself, Zodiac,
comes from a Greek word meaning, ‘The circle of animals’. The
animals representing the signs were placed among the stars usually
for great acts of heroism.

Given all the available information, one of the more plausible theories concerning the 12 signs of the Zodiac is that they have been a basic part of the world of the dead, the Sheol, since the death of Abel, whose soul lived on and helped to design much of Western astrology. Put together, the current constellations are probably nothing more than fragments of a larger, celestial story that was completely destroyed during the Great Flood. The exact lineage of their actual origins can be seen as follows:

Abel — Seth — Enoch — Shem — Abraham — Joseph — Moses — Greece, Rome

Although denied by many modern intellectuals, Jesus Christ has indeed managed to secretly establish His rule for the next 1,000 years. Karl Marx’s brutal, some might say hysterical, quest for a completely Communist world, along with Adolph Hitler’s insane ambition for a Pagan Third Reich by the year 2000 have both failed completely. By the end of 1991, Communism had collapsed throughout all of Eastern Europe, thus proving that Marx’s ‘historical imperative’ was nothing more than primitive superstition. The slow, but steady decline of white racism, along with an increasing amount of multi-racial marriages and families is a good sign that the Roman Catholic Church’s policy of universal brotherhood is emerging triumphant. In reality, the final deadline for the Devil’s two attempted evil empires was the beginning of the 3rd millennium. That deadline has past and the sole rule of Jesus, the Jew from Nazareth, has only just begun. His 1,000 Kingdom will also include Christianity ruling over all the known stars which are in the sky.

Before the year 2001, Zeus and Apollo were the hidden, yet undisputed, rulers of Western astrology and all the ancient signs of the Zodiac. This celestial dictatorship has already come to an end. Unbeknownst to the outside world, almost all the animals involved with this Western astrological system have been ready to violently rebel against their tyrannical rule at any moment for quite some time. The current situation is only to be expected considering the fact that, for centuries, both Judaism and Christianity have totally ignored, but still tolerated the Zodiac, leaving millions of gullible, superstitious, mentally disturbed, yet otherwise good and decent people behind, wallowing painfully in their own spiritual ignorance. This has caused a very important aspect of the Kingdom of God to be lost and/or stolen by the Pagan gods of yesteryear, thus allowing the absolute nonsense and gibberish called Western astrology to continue for far too long. The supernatural is very real, but has sadly remained abandoned and thoroughly trapped in the confusing stupidity called the Zodiac since at least the Middle Ages, if not before. In fact, it is more than likely that, in desperation, Abraham, Moses and even Jesus, now look to the science of astronomy first, rather than the pseudo-science of Greco-Roman astrology.

It is most unfortunate that these original star signs, and a much better understanding of what they really mean, have been almost completely lost to history. Little known to most modern religious believers, the basic Zodiac began mysteriously with Abel, was then originally mapped out by Abraham and Sarah with the assistance of Shem and was later perfected and simplified by Moses. The true Hebrew art of astronomy remained fairly well known even by Jesus and his Apostles many centuries later. As one commentator aptly states:

Moses (c.1200-1100 B.C.), as Pharaoh’s adopted son, was also
an astrologer. He correlated the attributes of the twelve signs
to the twelve tribes of Israel, then took the people from the
tabernacle in the wilderness on their pilgrimage, lined up by
zodiacal order. Rabbinical tradition asserts that the signs of
the zodiac have represented the twelve tribes since antiquity.

Unfortunately, those who put their faith in the Zodiac nowadays tend to be virulently anti-Christian Pagans with a religious chip on their shoulder who arrogantly dismiss traditional Judaism as out-dated and now look to Buddha and Kali for spiritual guidance. It was never, ever meant to be this way. In reality, neither the Egyptians, or the Greeks, or the Romans ever actually understood the Zodiac, how to use it, and the real story behind the various constellations. Most serious scholars of today will admit that Western astrology first began in Mesopotamia and was then adopted by other cultures later on. Even so, there is no evidence that even a single constellation truly originates from Mesopotamian mythology or religion. One Jewish source notes the following:

Hebrew tradition believes the first Jewish patriarchs used astrology, including Abraham. Abraham came from Babylon or Mesopotamia, a city with a name that translates as “light of the astrologers,” where planetary deities were worshiped. One astrological treatise possibly written by Abraham is known to have existed in the third century B.C. Abraham’s father Terah was also an astrologer…Abraham, it seems, was the foremost astrologer in all Babylon. A great zodiac was tattooed on his chest, and every morning kings came from East and West to seek advice.

Later in life, Abraham eventually became a revered astrologist- famous for his wisdom and knowledge about the stars. His real expertise, however, came from none other than Shem, the first son of Noah. Being at least partially illiterate, most of Abraham’s vast expertise about the Zodiac has never been written down and was mostly forgotten by the time of Moses. A small remnant of the original, divinely-inspired information was saved by the shepherd priests of Midian, who had somehow managed to escape enslavement by the Pharaoh. In terms of their blood ancestry, Moses’ father-in-law Jethro and his fellow Midianite priests and shepherds were probably closely related to Abraham, Isaac, and their original quasi-religious band of slaves, servants, associates and followers. Moses probably learned almost all his Hebrew from them while living in exile and then went on to perfect the written language of Hebrew and make it his own.

Centuries before, Abraham had first learned about the constellations through the teachings of what the Bible mysteriously refers to on numerous occasions as the ‘Chaldean’ priests, from the mystical land of ‘Chaldea’. Historically speaking, there is absolutely no proof that such a land or kingdom ever existed, so most scholars tend to assume it’s simply another name for Mesopotamia, later called Babylon. In truth, ‘Chaldea’, like the mythical Gog and Magog, was probably a veiled reference to a magic, hidden kingdom that existed spiritually in the minds of ancient Middle Eastern men and women within their dreams at night. Like the real world, it was both a land of darkness and of light with a sun, moon, and stars. Unlike the real world, both the living and dead, including angels, demons, ghosts, genies, and other spirits dwelt there side by side. The earth’s sun was their moon and the earth’s moon was their sun. Numerous references to this mysterious kingdom can be found throughout the Jewish folk-lore of Eastern Europe and in many Islamic legends from the distant past.

And if the dam breaks open many years too soon, and if there is no room upon the hill, and if your head explodes with dark forebodings too, I’ll see you on the dark side of the moon…You lock the door and throw away the key. There’s someone in my head, but it’s not me. And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear. You shout and no one seems to hear. And if the band you’re in starts playing different tunes, I’ll see you on the dark side of the moon.

– Brain Damage, by Pink Floyd

While the people of earth slept, the inhabitants of ‘Chaldea’ would wake up and go about their daily existence, only to fall asleep once again every morning. Believe it or not, they did not always obey the laws of time, as the careful, meticulous study of history seems to suggest. Over the course of decades, Abraham, and then later his wife Sarah, became familiar with this strange, impossible world. In fact, they probably brought with them the vast majority of the Mesopotamian dead who sought to escape the increasing idolatry, decadence, and perversion of their own civilization as well as the cruel, totalitarian control of the ‘Chaldean’ priesthood and nobility. In this enchanted world of dreams called ‘Chaldea’, which may well have began thousands of years before with the death of Abel, many people had what some call second-sight, or what others refer to as ESP. They kept a fairly good track of time through observing the growing seasons, the yearly mating rites of sheep, and through a careful count of the lunar cycles.

In many ways, the real story of Abraham is the story of an extremely intelligent, yet very common, insignificant man who slowly realizes through Divine guidance that the ghosts of Mesopotamia had, for quite some time, decided to follow him wherever he went unto the end of his days and perhaps beyond.

We are told that Abraham took his wife Sarah, and the
souls they had gotten…and they went forth into the land
of Canaan. By this is meant the souls that they had brought
away from idolatry and brought to the knowledge of the
living God.

– The Babylonian Talmud, Genesis Rabba 84

This mysterious and perhaps even frightening realization of basically being surrounded by the dead, who had secretly followed him out of Mesopotamia, probably occurred to Abraham gradually and with the help of the LORD God of the Holy Bible. Through the teachings of Shem, known in the Bible as Melchizedek, king of Salem, Abraham eventually learned even more about ‘Chaldean’ astrology and, at this time, possibly developed and established the original Zodiac that was first passed on to Egypt through Joseph and his brothers and then onwards to Greece and Rome via the mysterious influence of Abel- the long-deceased, yet original Hebrew shepherd.

And Melchizedek (Shem) king of Salem brought forth bread and wine:
and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and
said, ‘Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and

– Genesis 14:18-19

Legend has it that, throughout the ages, and after waking up in their coffins, the dead have eventually run into the same 12 or more signs of the Zodiac being superimposed upon their ghostly vision of the night sky above them. These glimpses of the other-worldly night sky most likely began with Adam’s son Abel, who eventually woke up from his death-bed to immediately have his vision restored by the one, true God.

Put bluntly, the Zodiac of today is little more than an amateur photo-copy, a total rip-off of the many various, celestial images that Abraham and his descendants would actually see whenever they looked up, closed their eyes, and then gazed into the tiny, imaginary world of dreams and visions. It must be remembered, however, that Abraham would also see many other images that were never included in the final Zodiac and these have sadly been either lost or forgotten by the rest of mankind.

Historically speaking, the Egyptians first learned about this initially Hebrew system through Abraham’s grandsons like Joseph, who eventually became Pharaoh’s foremost astrologer. Unfortunately, they never discovered the underlying truth that the standard Zodiac was simply one of many unique sets of constellations that had been learned and passed on by the ancient Hebrews, beginning with the good shepherd sons of Adam, such as Seth, Enos, Enoch and Shem a long time ago. It would be a mistake to believe that Abraham’s greatest knowledge originated from ‘Chaldea’, or Mesopotamia, because their Zodiac was, at first, quite different than the one that continued on through Egypt, Greece and then Rome.

Come down, and sit in the dust…sit on the ground: there is no
throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans…Your nakedness shall be
uncovered, yea, your shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance,
and I will not meet you as a man. As for our redeemer, the LORD
of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel. Sit you silent, and get
thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for you shall no
more be called, the lady of kingdoms.

– Isaiah 47:1-5

As the skies of Earth clearly reveal, an infinite variety of different animals and people can be traced out and even visualized by randomly connecting the major stars clearly seen by most anyone and everyone from either the living or the dead, during any night of the year. In fact, a professional artist of today would be quite capable of creating a much better, far more realistic, understandable and coherent system of connect-the-dot astrology in a fairly short amount of time. The argument that the Pagan Zodiac naturally evolved over the centuries into the various formations of today and should therefore never be tampered with is absolutely deceitful. The theory that the current constellations are part of a connected and closely related system of star signs, rather than a bunch of unrelated fragments is nothing more than a total, outright lie. The Western Zodiac was most likely stolen from a far more complex astrology designed by Abel, Enoch, Shem, Abraham and other Hebrews. Seen as a whole, the Greco-Roman myths surrounding the present constellations appear to be randomly put together, as if some dilettante god from Mount Olympus made it his or her hobby to deliberately confuse mankind with total nonsense.

She increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men portrayed
upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans…And as soon as she
saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers
unto them into Chaldea. And the Babylonians came to her into the
bed of love, and they defiled her…and she was polluted with them,
and her mind was alienated from them. So she discovered her
whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was
alienated from her.

– Ezekiel 23:14-18

As mentioned previously, the Greco-Roman gods Zeus and Apollo have tyrannically monopolized the system ever since the Roman Empire, blatantly and repeatedly lying about its actual origins. It is high time for the current Zodiac to die, to go extinct and be replaced by new myths and legends based upon the Holy Bible and the heroic followers of the one, true God rather than the decadent gibberish of the Pagan gods. In many ways, the present constellations of Western astrology are filled with dangerous, sexually degenerate innuendo that continues to pose a danger to both living and dead children from around the world. The New Age of Christianity has just begun and the third millennium truly deserves an authentically new approach towards the blasphemous stars that still twinkle, twinkle threateningly throughout the night sky.
