The Democratic suicide run for November gains steam.

First, passing legislation that Americans were solidly against.  Now via Hot Air, I guess Hillary Clinton wasn’t bluffing after all in regards to the Obama administration suing the state of Arizona over its new immigration law.  Americans are even more opposed to illegal immigration and in support for Arizona’s new law than they were opposed against Obamacare.  Obviously, this is a play to get the Hispanic vote to come out in November.  The only thought to my mind in regards to President Obama and his administration I can think of is “Stuck on stupid.”

Speaking of Obamacare, it certainly looks as if Barack Obama is channeling his inner John Kerry.  After claiming in a 20/20 interview with George Stephanopolis that Obamacare with the accompanying individual mandate wasn’t a tax increase,  his administration is now claiming that it is a tax in asking a Florida federal judge to dismiss the class-action case brought by at least 14 states.   Sorry Mr. President, you can’t have it both ways.  As Philip Klein correctly points out, Obama was adamant at the time it wasn’t a tax increase, let alone a tax, because this correct perception was damaging the bill’s chances of being passed.  I am really starting to believe that the chances of Obamacare’s individual mandate being overturned due to conflicts with the Commerce Clause stand a decent chance.

In summary, it would appear that the president and his administration are being overwhelmed with the adverse consequences of their actions regarding the oil spill, foreign policy, Obamacare, cap and trade, and immigration issues with Arizona’s state law.  Every move they have made as of late has been the wrong one and the American people may be finally realizing the incompetence and inexperience of the current White House administration.  The ones who will be paying for this soon obviously are Democratic congressmen currently in office.
