Here’s some food for thought… the expected, next president of Mexico had this to say at The Daily Caller, http://dailycaller.com/2018…

Mexican presidential candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) called for mass immigration to the United States during a speech Tuesday declaring it a “human right” for all North Americans. [Ed: This is rich!  I love it when a demagogue decides that something has now become a ‘right’, lookout freedoms!]

“And soon, very soon — after the victory of our movement — we will defend all the migrants in the American continent and all the migrants in the world,” Obrador said, adding that immigrants “must leave their towns and find a life in the United States.” [I wonder if he even knows how Mexico treats the immigrants to his country on Mexico’s southern border?]

He then declared it as “a human right we will defend,”  eluniversal.com reports.

Fox’s Tucker Carlson noted Thursday that Obrador has previously proposed granting amnesty to Mexican drug cartels. [This is perfect, next Obrador will be encouraging them to emigrate to the US!]

This though was the best part of the piece (the interviewer added the observation that):

America is now Mexico’s social safety net, and that’s a very good deal for the Mexican ruling class.  Tucker Carlson

As the DC reported, while the election is not until July 1, Obrador is by far the front runner.

Now, we had the caravan through Mexico that was facilitated by the Mexican government and up next we have the next president of Mexico wanting to use the US as Mexico’s safety net. As if the US isn’t already functioning as both their safety net and source of hard currency as their citizens send back remittances to their families.

Although this is potentially a deadly serious threat to the integrity of the US’ borders I think that this might work out just about right as an issue for the mid-term elections.

This ought to fit right into Trump’s agenda.  As soon as Trump joins this discussion we should stock up on more popcorn!

On the other hand, I’m not sure that if Obrador really wanted to help Trump that he could have picked a better time to spout out this stuff.

Note: The previous version attributed the last quote to Obrador in error.
