It is difficult to explain how a Democrat party which had so many candidates landed on Joe Biden, who almost certainly looks to be the Walter Mondale of our time. The only reasonable explination is that the greater DNC wants Joe Biden for some reason, because most logical people see Joe Biden as a certain loss to Donald Trump, but what if Joe Biden’s nomination is less about winning the election, and more about the DNC taking a potential hit in this election to protect themselves from certain destruction?
Allow me to explain: The idea that Joe Biden is considered a strong nominee is too insane for me to accept, so I had to consider other reasons why the Democrats would choose such a highly flawed candidate in the first place. The answer is, the John Durham investigation. With Joe Biden as the nominee, any indictments that come out from the Durham investigation will be weaponized by the Democrat party and the media as “election meddling” by the Trump administration and that will become the narrative adnosium by the mainstream media which will take any air out of the room for anyone to talk about the actual investigation.
Because the corruption of the Russia investigation likely reaches the highest levels of the Obama administration, it means that there will be a tangential connection to Joe Biden given that he was the Vice President. Any indictment, which the Democrats will lead to top officials in the Obama White House can then be considered election interference and therefore protect not only the legacy of Obama, but also, likely protect party leadership as well by diverting attention from the corruption and the deliberate sabotage of Trump’s Presidency, and make the narrative about Trump attempting to “jail his political opponents”. We know this pattern of behavior exists from how the wikileaks email scandal went down, when the Democrats wanted to deflect attention to their obvious corruption, they instead breathlessly talked about where the information came from, so nobody would talk about what it said.
Of course, this is merely a theory, but I would like to think it’s a pretty solid theory, and is likely true given the actions of the Democrat party over the years. Joe Biden’s nomination is an insurance policy for Democrat leadership to attempt to avoid charges by the DoJ in the Durham investigation. Joe Biden’s nomination isn’t about winning the 2020 election, it’s about creating a counter narrative to revelations that could destroy the Democratic party itself.
