1. This Stuff Is Not Supposed to Happen in America

I would like to be gloating this morning that Charles Djou is the newest congressman from Hawaii. This won’t get a lot of play probably, but it should. Djou won Barack Obama’s home district in Hawaii. The district is heavily Democrat. The Democrats could not agree on a candidate and Djou, therefore, won.I would like to be gloating, but there is a far more disturbing story out there we need to pay attention to. Barack Obama’s union friends are dragging us into the third world — and not just with their economic policies. In Robert Mugabe’s Zimbabwe or Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela or in Thailand or in former Eastern Bloc countries it would not be unheard of for union goons to show up on a man’s doorstep to intimidate the man into submitting to the thugocracy’s will. It is not supposed to happen here.A couple of weeks ago, Barack Obama told Wall Street that he, personally *he*, was all that stood between them and pitchforks. Well, Obama’s SEIU buddies decided to break out the pitchforks. Please click here for the rest of the post.

2. Jeff Sessions to Head of Immigration – Do Your Job

Well – at least they admit it. According to the Chicago Tribune, the head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), John Morton, said “his agency will not necessarily process illegal immigrants referred to them [sic] by Arizona officials.”Yes. Let me give you a moment to re-read that paragraph. The guy in charge of immigration enforcement for the United States of America is saying he will refuse to enforce immigration laws. Sounds like someone doesn’t understand the requirements of his job. Please click here for the rest of the post.

3. Jan Brewer Reminds Obama Administration: Reading is Fun!

Reading is fun! And fundamental to, you know, comprehending laws prior to demonizing them. Of course, the Obama Administration and other Democrats aren’t reading the law partially so as to give themselves that whole plausible deniability cover, together with their usual childish “La la la, I can’t hear you – and don’t care to anyway” behavior, but that doesn’t fly. Willful ignorance is not a valid excuse for blatant, purposeful lying and denigrating of American citizens.Anyway, here’s a little family fun, via Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and SecureTheBorderAZ’s new ad.Please click here for the rest of the post.

4. Out: Flag Pins. In: Demagogue Bracelets

Capping off a week wherein Democrats in Congress cheered and gave standing ovations to a foreign leader denigrating our country from our own house floor and the head of ICE said he won’t do his job because Arizona is yucky, now comes denigration jewelry! Please click here for the rest of the post.

5. Putting This ‘Dropping Out’ Business In Perspective

I think we need a time out on the whole issue of who should drop out in California. The objective fact is that Carly Fiorina cannot seal the deal with conservatives in California. Because of her failure to seal the deal, she and her team are demanding Chuck DeVore get out of the race.If we are going to play that game, we can play it, but play it the opposite way.In truth, no one should be calling on anyone else to get out of the race. It is up to the politicians to seal the deal and, if they cannot, it is their fault. Let’s not blame Chuck DeVore for Carly Fiorina being unable to seal the deal. And let’s not blame Carly Fiorina for Chuck DeVore being unable to seal the deal. Please click here for the rest of the post.

6. Fiorina Allies and the Los Angeles Times Try to Dick Blumenthal Chuck DeVore

Today in California, we’re seeing how desperate the NRSC’s handpicked candidate, Carly Fiorina, really is.Despite massive monetary advantages in her campaign, mostly thanks to writing herself checks and getting the blessing from the NRSC’s Rob Jesmer and his ilk, she still performs worse than Chuck DeVore against Barbara Boxer, and she’s lost the momentum in the race.So in a last ditch effort to win, her allies are using the Richard Blumenthal story to try to create a blatantly false perception of Chuck DeVore. Please click here for the rest of the post.

7. Joe Sestak admits bribe offer.

Marvel, my friends, at the moral heroism put on display by Joe Sestak. (You really want to watch the video in the actual post)If you define ‘moral heroism’ as ‘reluctantly and inarticulately admitting that one was offered a bribe by the White House, while neglecting to alert the relevant federal authorities of the alleged crime in question,’ of course. Which apparently Joe Sestak does. Please click here for the rest of the post.RELATED: Issa Threatens July 4 Ethics Probe over Sestak Bribery Claim

8. About Those Oil Rig S.W.A.T. Teams…

With great fanfare, President Obama dispatched Interior Department “S.W.A.T Teams” to all 29 active deepwater drilling rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Their charge:

  1. Perform a thorough, complete drilling inspection of each deepwater rig.
  2. Key on the BOP [blowout preventer] test time frame, leaks and resolution, discrepancies, and repairs.
  3. Make sure well control drills were performed as required by 30 CFR 250.462.

What’s that? You missed the results?Well, you came to the right place. Please click here for the rest of the post.
