1. In Defending Barack Obama Skipping Memorial Day, the Left Calls Dead Soldiers ‘Political Props’

Barack Obama is skipping the Memorial Day tradition of the President laying a wreath at the tomb of the unknowns. It is not unprecedented. George H. W. Bush was on the campaign trail in 1992 and scheduled to speak at an American Legions event in Maine on Memorial Day.Ronald Reagan was in the midst of a contentious economic summit in 1983 and so sent George H. W. Bush on his behalf.Barack Obama wants to go on vacation — the second vacation he has had since oil began spilling out of the gulf. That’s okay though because the oil spilling is George W. Bush’s fault, just like all the new dead soldiers are George Bush’s fault too. Why should he care? The problem for Barack Obama is simple. Please click here for the rest of the post.

2. EPA head to fundraise for DSCC while oil spreads.

Priorities, folks: priorities. Apparently Lisa Jackson figures that if Interior Deptartment Chief of Staff Tom Strickland could go white-water rafting while the oil spread, she can go raise money for the DemocratsI have an ‘issue of concern:’ the Governor of Louisiana is shouting at the federal government to sign off on emergency sand berms to keep the oil away from wetlands; and the administration is dithering. 5. Leaders Who Despise Their Own People

It was a gala affair on the White House Lawn. The POTUS and The President of Mexico stood behind the podium and delivered addresses of mutual friendship and good will. It seems the two men and their governing apparatuses had something in common to strengthen their bond. They each detested the fact that Arizona had passed legislation requiring that their state law enforcement officials assist in enforcing federal statutes on illegal immigration.President Obama offered his own assessment. He promised the President of Mexico that Arizona would be in his administration’s cross-hairs. Barack Obama addresses Arizona in the manner most US Presidents reserve for North Korea below. Please click here for the rest of the post.
