1. Cowardly Republican Senate Aides Begin Attacking Jim DeMint

Cowardly Senate aides who refuse to go on record with their names are saying DeMint will be punished. As if they can do anything to him. It’s not like he’s going to be thrown out of leadership. Good grief. In any event, the knives are out for Jim DeMint among his colleagues for his efforts to elect Republicans who remember what Republicans stand for.If you want to stand up for Jim DeMint there is one thing you can do above all other things: Help him Take Back America. Please click here for the rest of the post.

2. ‘It’s Of No Interest to Me’

Ken Buck and Michael Bennet had a debate the other day. Ken Buck posed a simple question to Bennet: Did you vote for $1.5 million for an airport named after Jack Murtha that serves no more than 20 passengers a day?Bennet’s answer? Please click here for the rest of the post.

3. Non-Voting Delegate To Congress Demands Lobbyists Pony Up

If there is one sure thing next year it is that Delegate Eleanor Norton Holmes, the Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives from the District of Columbia, will get re-elected.Ms. Holmes, who calls herself a Congresswoman despite not being elected to Congress to vote on anything, gets to sit on committees in the House of Representatives along with delegates from other territories of the United States. She does not, however, get an actual vote on the floor of the House of Representatives because she does not represent a state. So one must wonder what she needs money for. Please click here for the rest of the post.

4. Meet Chris Coons (D CAND, DE-SEN). Harry Reid’s… pet.

Understandable that this would be said of Chris Coons: after all, look at that happy grin! That marvelous posture! That glossy coat… pelt… erm, skin! Admittedly, this isn’t the best example of the breed in the smarts department – Coons admitted to being a Marxist in his more hirsute days, and we all know that Marxism is intellectualism for stupid people – but smarts aren’t everything. Particularly when it comes to Democratic Senators: after all, when Carly Fiorina gets done with Senator Ma’am there’s going to be a vacancy anyway. Assuming he survives his own general election, I’m sure that Coons will be a good boy, yes he will, yes he will! Please click here for the rest of the post.

5. The DNC’s new pizza site logo.

It might have happened yesterday that you might have noticed what was promised to be a ‘major’ announcement by the Democratic party for today. I say ‘might:’ Tim Kaine showed his usual impeccable timing by trying to start a buzz on the eve of what turned out to be two of the most interesting Republican Senate primary contests this cycle*, so you probably missed it. Well, they still soldiered on ahead and made the announcement today: the Democrats have… a new website. One with a logo that has a writer for the Atlantic – the Atlantic – snarkily demanding to know why the Democrats have ripped off a beloved Midwest pizza chain. No, really. Please click here for the rest of the post.

6. Signs of a Failed Stimulus

Two years ago, signs promoting Barack Obama were everywhere: on buildings, billboards and bumper stickers. Not much has changed, except now you are paying for this propaganda to promote the President and his floundering “stimulus” spending plan. Reports indicate these signs can cost taxpayers as much as $10,000 each, with my home state of Illinois spending more than $650,000 on them. Worse, the stimulus ads tout a program that has failed – as the signs promise – in “putting America back to work.”Please click here for the rest of the post.
