We can now announce that Texas Senator Ted Cruz will be joining us as a speaker at the 2013 RedState Gathering, being held August 2-3 in New Orleans, LA.
Ted Cruz’s election to the Senate in 2012 was truly a victory for the conservative grassroots. Since then, Senator Cruz has continued to garner a national following as he’s played an important role in protecting 2nd Amendment rights, fighting Obamacare, securing our borders, and joining Rand Paul’s marathon filibuster. He’s also a longtime friend and supporter of RedState, and has been an attendee favorite at the past few Gatherings.
I’m also excited to announce that we’ll be welcoming Virginia Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli back to the RedState Gathering. He was with us at the very first Gathering in Atlanta and returned again last year with an especially invigorating speech in Jacksonville.
