Congressional Republicans Preparing to Investigate NASA Temperature Tampering

In the short few months since the 2014 midterm elections, Republicans have already committed many sins, but their willingness to investigate abuse, fraud, and deceit by governmental agencies is not among them. Their newest target appears to be the scandalous temperature tampering by activist scientists to push the global warming agenda forward. The Daily Caller reports on this citing a series from [mc_name name=’Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’R000409′ ] (R-CA-28). The most important is this one:

Reports of NASA and NOAA’s temperature data manipulation have been around for months now, but since the beginning of this year, it has exploded. Christopher Booker of the UK’s Telegraph is among those leading the way when he dubbed it earlier this month “the biggest science scandal ever“, and this article from The New American takes Booker’s argument and expands upon it in greater detail.

We know the Senate is onboard with the idea of holding hearings into this scandal. Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK) has long been one of the biggest global warming skeptics on Capitol Hill, and now that Republicans hold the chamber, he sits as chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee. He has already promised to hold hearings on the problems with the science behind global warming, along with investigating government agencies’ environmental regulations enacted to supposedly counter it.

Let’s make Rohrabacher, Inhofe, and the rest of the House and Senate Republicans follow through on these promises. They are the best hope we have in Washington, DC, as long as Obama has the White House.
